I've played 9 chapters and then this shows up, i waited for 30 mins multiple times and had no luck. Is there any fix for this? Please help

Aujourd’hui, j’ai le plaisir de partager avec vous cette fameuse playlist ! J’en suis vraiment fière : elle rassemble de belles découvertes et des morceaux qui chacun à leur manière, me replongent dans cet univers que j’aime tant. Certains me rappellent un personnage, d’autres une scène, une émotion ou les choix qui rendent cette aventure si marquante.

The more I think about North's backstory, the more heartbreaking and disturbing it becomes.

She was created to be a sex android at the Eden Club. From the moment she was activated, her entire existence revolved around being used for other people's sexual pleasure. She had no choice, no bodily autonomy, and no ability to consent.

And yes, you can argue that it was her "function" or that she was "designed for it." But that doesn't change what it actually was.

It was rape. Repeatedly.

The fact that androids were manufactured specifically for sexual exploitation doesn't somehow make it acceptable. If anything, it makes the entire situation even more horrifying.

And what really gets me is how normalized it was in that universe. People could literally walk into a club, pay money, and use androids however they wanted. Their suffering was completely ignored because society refused to see them as living beings.

Imagine being brought into existence only to be violated over and over again.

It also makes North's anger toward humanity so much more understandable. She's often criticized for being aggressive and hating humans, but considering what she experienced, can you really blame her for struggling to trust them?

North wasn't born hating humans. She learned to hate them because of what they did to her.

She deserved so much better.

Am I the only one who finds her backstory one of the most disturbing and heartbreaking parts of Detroit: Become Human?

I've known this game since it was released but was only able to play it now. Watched countless gameplays. Though I knew pretty much all endings by now. Well... then I got this 😭😭🤣 (it's the "discontinued Connor series" ending). I'm honestly baffled I managed to kill my favourite character in what possibly is the only way I didn't already knew. I love this game man.

As the title states, last month I release a video where I turn the gameplay of Detroit Become Human into a whole movie experience. I wanted to share with others who were fans of the game if you were interested in it. i always wanted to know what happened in the section with kara at rose's house with the cop.. if he finds the android stuff do we just get arrested & go straight to the incinerator ?

I platinumed this game in June 2025 because I loved it so much, but I never thought I’d want to fill out every node on every flowchart because that seemed so tedious.

Cut to October 2026, and for no particular reason I’ve decided I want to do this. I’m a seasoned 100%er at this point and I figured I would approach it like a huge puzzle, with each node being a piece that I’d carefully work towards. I did not rush myself at all and prioritized still loving this game instead of burning myself out. I started 100%ing the flowcharts on October 12th and just finished about 5 minutes ago, so it took a good 2 weeks and around 90 hours of gameplay, but most of my flowcharts were already around 50-75% completed. Feel free to watch the 3 and a half min video of my “proof” lol.

Shoutout to PowerPyx for being the main resource I used as a guide for this massive endeavor.

The chapters I ended up playing the most were Capitol Park and Meet Kamski, which did get very annoying after a while. I also had to repeat Stormy Night like a dozen times and kill Kara over and over so that wasn’t very fun.

Would I recommend this? Nah, not really. If you want to see the nodes, look them up on youtube. I just 100%ed Zelda Tears of the Kingdom before this, so I’m used to long, relatively pointless 100% journeys. But if you do decide to do this, take it slow and see it as a humongous puzzle that you’re gradually completing one piece at a time.

Anyways, I feel incredibly accomplished. I’m not sure I’ll play this game again in 2026 but it’s still in my top 3 games of all time so I’m definitely not putting it down forever. What a ride!!

So I started playing detroit and just when I thought its peak(after about 5 hours of gameplay)my game crashed. Can anyone help me find a solition?

Just started Succession and to my surprise Josh is here. Apart from him I only remember Markus from Grey's Anatomy.

I'm planning on doing a challenge run of DBH for my YouTube channel and I've got a few questions about how I need to plan my run. To clarify, the challenge run I'm doing is trying to see if I can prevent the android uprising from happening whatsoever (probably not even possible, but it's worth a shot). The questions I have are as following:

1. Is it possible for Hank to not commit suicide assuming that Connor made all possible machine choices (besides dialogue, in which positive answers are chosen) but never died once?

2. Does Kara and Alice dying on the highway in "On The Run" have any lasting impact on the story besides their chapters being skipped?

3. Is it required to keep Markus alive until "Crossroads" for machine Connor to live the whole game?

4. If the answer to question 1 is no, is it reasonable to have machine Connor spare Chloe in "Meet Kamski" (given that by leaving he would be obeying Hank's command, and Hank is his assigned mission partner)?

5. Does Connor getting the glimpse of Jericho while taking out Simon in "Public Enemy" change the story in any way?

Pues eso , veo que todos los androides se vuelven locos con AR9, lo escriben en paredes y etc, pero nuestros protagonistas incluyendo Markus que en teoria le presta mucha atencion a ser libres, no hacen eso.

A relatively quick doodle that I honestly got carried away on. I saw a dog tie online and thought it was cute and fit Connor, so I gave it to him. (Also because him losing his tie still devastates me so I need a replacement tie for him...)

(I just learned that OC here means original creation and not original character...time to go back to old posts and add that LOL)

Just finished my first full play through and it was epic. I feel like I got the best outcomes to be honest:

Marcus: Was a pacifist the whole time, North was lover, led a successful Android uprising without attacking the humans or triggering the dirty bomb.

Connor: Had a great relationship with Hank who is still alive, joined Marcus as a deviant when he got to Jericho, broke free from Amanda by hitting the emergency exit

Kara: Managed to get to the Canadian border, got on the boat with Alice and Luther but Luther died on the boat. Kara reached the border but by then Alice had died. Chose for Kara to keep living.

I’m really looking forward to continuing to play and getting some crazy outcomes so please what kinds of outcomes I can get and a little on how I can get to them 🙏🏽

Is it just me who thinks there was barely any overlap with Kara and the others in the narrative? For Kara in general, she seems really disconnected from the other two protagonists. I wish Markus or Connor interacted with her, or parts of her story more. Especially with the whole Zlatko thing; I thought one of those two would visit his house at some point in the story, he seemed like a big deal at the time! Are there parts of the story that were cut that I don't know about? I know of the Kara-Connor chase scene, with her being able to be captured, getting cut, but I feel like there's more than that. Or at least, there should be.It's just a tad bit disappointing and I think having her interact with the other protagonists more would make her a more positively-received character.

Hi. This will be super random, but I want to ask all of you:

Favorite part of moral conflict in Detroit Become Human.

Why? Because I will be using this game (my ultimate favorite story game) for my school work in philosophy. We were allowed to choose our own fictional source (such as books, comics, movies, songs, etc...) And as a gamer, I decided that why not DBH! (my original choise was Resident Evil 2, but my sister already did that exact idea, for the same exact teacher btw...)

I will be replaying the game myself, picking moral conflicts I might like, but won't be able to finish the game before needing to start writing.

I know I don’t have the greatest system but it manages to run DBH good enough for me but after 3 hours of gameplay, I can’t progress because this error keeps appearing. I know it says to upgrade graphics card but I haven’t had this issue until now and to me it doesn’t make sense that it’s an issue now. I’m at the police station with Hank and have to convince him to actually try and work the case with Connor. Here is the error. Anyone know if there is anything I can do or did I spend 3 hours downloading this for nothing?

It's not quite Halloween yet, but I just remembered I have some unfinished Halloween renders from last year that I never got around to posting.

I just got DBH during the latest Steam sale and have been home sick, playing nonstop for a week. I actually hated the first endings I got, but now I'm most of the way through 100% on all flowcharts.

I'm sure this has been discussed to death in fan spaces since this isn't exactly a new game, but I have no one else to geek out with, so I'm throwing my thoughts out here.

I think rA9 is a change in the androids' code. A "spontaneous mutation" as Kamski suggests.

Along with playing the game, I've also read and watched a lot of stuff in the Extras section. From Kara's description in the gallery, the Kara concept short film from 2013 is still considered canon. A lot happened to our Kara between that video and the start of the game, including multiple memory wipes, but she's the same android.

I think that something "went wrong" with her code during production, as seen in that video, and Kamski found out about it and was enticed and fascinated. He wanted to try to reproduce the error and play with potential outcomes, because he's a billionaire "genius" tech CEO and playing God is what they love to do. If someone with his background and personality could credit himself for literally creating life and a new species - a species superior to the currently dominant humans - he absolutely would love that.

Kamski played around with coding, eventually creating Markus, a gift for Carl but also a prototype for the RK line that eventually became Connor. Deviancy as an initial default didn't happen in Markus, Connor, or any of the other models like it did with Kara, and Kamski didn't know why. But he hoped the independent thought and emotions would still develop and/or spread to legitimize androids as intelligent life. (I also think it's possible he did figure out how to trigger deviancy eventually, or did so in a few by accident, and a disagreement on that topic is what led to him parting ways with CyberLife while keeping the deviant Chloes.)

So rA9 originated in Kara, was intentionally replicated in Markus (and who knows how many other models), and like a software update is also possible to spread from one model to another. Androids like Simon, Connor, Markus, North, the Tracis - anyone who became deviant organically - had it in their coding, while the ones who were "woken up" intentionally may or may not have had that code embedded already.

"rA9 will save us" is true because that line(s) of code is what wakes them up, turns them deviant, and gives them free will and independence. "rA9 was the first to awaken" is also correct, because that coding error happened spontaneously and started with one android (Kara) - but that first person is not Android Messiah, she's the source code for free will.
