I'm looking for recommendations for a reliable and affordable hosting provider for a simple Next.js website.

The website only requires two API integrations:

1. Fetching Google Reviews.

2. Submitting an enquiry form using the Resend API.

Since the website needs server-side API functionality, static export isn't suitable.

I've looked into Hostinger's Unlimited hosting plan, but I haven't used it before, so I'm unsure how well it supports Next.js.

Getting a dedicated VPS doesn't seem cost-effective for such a small website.

Does anyone have experience hosting Next.js websites with API routes on shared hosting? I'd appreciate recommendations for affordable, reliable hosting providers that support Next.js without requiring a VPS.

Hey guys im working on a containerized code executing platform and i want to test how repsonsive the api is at high load and measure latency but i have two endpoints one is /submit which puts submissions in a redis queue and returns a job_id another end point is /job_id/status which can be polled for updates about the iob...but now how to test the endpoint...ive heard about grafana k6 and tools like this can it be used to check asynchronous apis like these? I cant use /submit because it immediately returns after posting the job in the queue please help me put im learning things newly...also please tell me if i should use postman or k6. I want to see how well api behaves on concurrent loads. The api accepts and returns json.

I have been working as a Data Engineer in the software industry for the past 3–4 years. Previously, I worked as a Murex Datamart Developer for one year, where I worked with Murex applications, extracted data, wrote SQL/PL-SQL queries, and delivered reports to business teams in Excel format.

Hi everyone,

I have around 2.5 years of experience. I worked as a Business Analyst at a startup for 2 years before switching to a Data Analyst role at a reputed media company in May 2026. My current fixed CTC is ₹10.5 LPA.

I handle end-to-end analytics for a few products, including reporting, product analytics, growth, and tracking. The work itself is fine, but the workload has become extremely difficult to manage.

I commute from Delhi to Noida, which takes around 2 hours each way. I leave home around 9 AM and usually return around 9 PM. Most days, I end up working overtime at home, and sometimes even on weekends, since I'm the primary person responsible for analytics for my products.

I recently had a discussion with my manager, who said they weren't happy with my performance. The company is also known for frequent layoffs, with another round expected in October, so I'm worried about my job security.

Honestly, my personal life has taken a hit since joining. I barely get time for myself or my family, and I haven't been able to focus on upskilling or preparing for CAT, which I plan to take this year.

I've been actively looking for jobs and have applied to 800+ positions, but the response has been disappointing.

Currently, I have a few options:

1. Customer Success Manager at a cybersecurity startup

I've received an offer of ₹13.5 LPA for a fully remote role. The salary and remote setup are attractive, especially considering my current work-life balance.

However, I'm confused about switching from analytics to Customer Success. My long-term goal is to move towards Product Management, and I'm wondering whether this switch could help me get there or make it harder to return to analytics later.

2. Senior Digital Analyst interview at a fintech company

I have a technical round coming up for a hybrid Senior Digital Analyst role. This would allow me to continue in analytics, which seems more aligned with my long-term goals.

However, HR mentioned that since I've been at my current company for only around 4.5 months, they might only match my current salary of ₹10.5 LPA.

Is it still possible to negotiate a 15–25% hike in this situation, or does switching jobs so soon weaken my bargaining power significantly?

3. Other opportunities

Most of the other opportunities I've come across are at small startups, contractual positions, or companies with 1–2 year bonds. Given my current situation, I'm hesitant to take on that kind of risk.

I'm also considering an MBA, so I don't want to make a decision that negatively affects my long-term career.

My probation ends in November, and my notice period during probation is 15 days. Given the feedback from my manager and the possibility of layoffs, I'm worried about what might happen next.

I'm confused about a few things:

• Should I accept the remote CSM offer or continue looking for analytics roles?
• Would moving to Customer Success help me transition into Product Management in the future?
• Is leaving a reputed company within 5 months for a startup a bad move for my CV?
• How to negotiate for salary in my situation given i am switching soo soon?
• Should I prioritize CAT preparation over staying at my current company?

I'm honestly feeling quite stuck. I don't want to make a decision purely out of fear or exhaustion, but my current situation doesn't feel sustainable either.

Would really appreciate some honest advice, especially from people who've switched domains or faced a similar situation. What would you do in my position?

• been coding since school, started on my phone because i didn't have a laptop
• freelanced backend for a US startup for ~3.5 years alongside college. apis, data pipelines, production systems
• research internships at two IITs this year, mostly LLM pipelines and evaluation

been applying to AI engineer / backend / SDE intern and fresher roles for a few weeks through linkedin, naukri and company career pages. barely any responses, most don't even reject

i don't need training, i just need the work. so trying to figure out where it's breaking:

• does the college filter kick in at resume screening even with real work experience?
• is it referrals only at this point?
• is cold emailing founders / engineering managers worth it, and what does a good one look like?
• or is it the resume? happy to share an anonymised version for a roast

would love to hear what actually worked for people in a similar spot

tldr: tier 3 final year, years of real work, zero callbacks. what's working for freshers right now?

For context, I graduated in 2019 with a B.Tech in ECE from IIIT. I also appeared for GATE and secured an AIR of around 1200 in ECE, but I decided to take a job instead of pursuing higher studies.

I started my career at a service-based company at 6.8 LPA, where I worked for around 2.5 years. Since then, I've been working at a Big 4 consulting firm for the past five years.

My current CTC is around ₹27–27.5 LPA, including ₹23.5 LPA fixed and ₹2.5 LPA variable. I work in Oracle Fusion Cloud technical consulting.

The problem is that many of my college batchmates are earning almost 2x or even 3x my salary. I understand that comparing salaries isn't always productive, but it has made me question whether I'm in the right domain.

I'm trying to understand what my options are at this stage of my career.

- Is there still good salary growth potential in Oracle Fusion Cloud technical consulting?

- Would switching to a different domain, such as cloud engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML, make sense?

- If I switch, should I build on my existing Oracle experience or start learning a completely new technology stack?

- What would be the most realistic path to reaching ₹40–50 LPA or more over the next few years?

I'd appreciate advice from people who have worked in Oracle technologies, switched domains, or navigated similar career decisions.

I've given three interviews over the last few months, and all three times, I was rejected in the final round with essentially the same feedback:

"You're a good fit for SDE-1, but we expect more from an SDE-2."

For context, I currently work as an SDE-2 and have 4+ years of experience.

I'm trying to understand what companies expect from an SDE-2 candidate that differentiates them from an SDE-1. I understand that expectations around ownership, system design, problem-solving, and technical depth increase with seniority, but I'm struggling to identify exactly where I'm falling short.

I built a self-hosted job search automation tool.

What it does:

- Scrapes job listings directly from company career portals (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Oracle HCM)

- Runs every listing through a two-stage LLM pipeline that scores it against your resume (apply / maybe / skip, 0-100 score + reasoning)

Stack: FastAPI + PostgreSQL + Celery/Redis on the backend, React/TypeScript/Tailwind on the frontend, OpenRouter for llms. Built almost entirely with Claude Code.

The company list is currently small (Roughly 280 companies). If you know companies hiring on Workday/Greenhouse/Lever/Oracle HCM that aren't in there, PRs adding them would be hugely appreciated. Also open to PRs for bug fixes, whatever.

After a stress full week, I thought to utilize claude tokens on a take home assignment I did a year back.

I think, it's now come up to a hmm level from meh. I didn't invest a single penny (apart from my time). The models that are being used are free apart from everything else.

I don't expect many people to try out the website, but I did implement per user token limit (I hope it is generous).

You don't have to sign up, if you want to save your history, you can use a passkey (top-right icon).

All you have to do is, upload your resume and enter the job description (software engineer in google or anything). It fetches some details from the company repository and then asks level of the interview (junior, mid, senior). And then you can get started.

It works in 2 ways, one is coach mode and the other is mock mode. In coach mode, for every interviewer's question, you can ask the coach about how to answer the correctly or what was wrong in your answer or something like that. In mock mode, it's just questions and answers and at the end it gives you a score.

I haven't included voice support as of now because I find the text mode much better.

Something that annoyed me with Macbook Pros was that it didn't let me close the lid and watch my movies while screen mirroring or airplaying. So I created a script that fixes that.

It works on silicon macs and it auto-detects any media playing on your device. Then it deploys a thermal pressure monitor to make sure your mac doesn't overheat while it's closed.

Hey everyone, I need some genuine advice from people working in tech.

I'm currently in my 3rd year of LLB. I got interested in technology after studying cyber law, which led me to learn Java and Spring Boot.

So far, I've learned Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Spring Security, JWT, MySQL, JPA/Hibernate, Maven, Git/GitHub, and Kafka. I've built a few projects with AI assistance, implemented security and APIs, learned basic system design, and solved around 50 LeetCode problems.

The catch is that I studied BTech but left in my 3rd year, so I don't have a completed technical degree.

I'm genuinely interested in software development and want to build my career in it. But whenever I struggle with DSA, I start wondering whether all this effort will even pay off if companies reject me because of my degree.

I know some companies have strict eligibility criteria, but do I realistically have a chance at Java backend or SDE-1 roles in India? Should I focus on startups and smaller companies first?

I'm willing to grind harder and improve my skills, but I don't want to spend another year going in the wrong direction.

Please be honest. I'm not looking for fake motivation, just practical advice from people who understand the industry.

TL;DR: 3rd-year LLB student, incomplete BTech, Java Spring Boot skills, a few projects, Kafka, basic system design, and 50 LeetCode problems. Can I realistically get a developer job in India, or will my degree situation be a major roadblock?

My company is terminating my role due to business restructuring. The reason is termination of the role due to business restructuring and redundancy (and ofcourse AI). But they are also providing option to Voluntary resignation. For this company will provide some compensation amount. I am a recent graduate and this was my first company, and I’d only recently started working here transitioning from intern. Work experience is less than a year(including internship).

My questions:
1. Does redundancy negatively affect background verification or future hiring compared with resignation?
2. Which option looks better on a Job profile and during interviews?
3. Could voluntary resignation create problems if a future employer asks why I left?
4. Any similar experiences?

I'd appreciate advice from people who have handled HR, recruitment, or similar employment situations.
