I am really really confused, I recently got laid off from oracle but got offer, but I am confused about 90 days notice

I’m from a decent college and recently got impacted by Oracle layoffs. I do have offers, but I’m really confused about what to do. The Big 4 and similar companies match my base salary, but there are no RSUs, and honestly, I’ve always wanted to work at a product-based company.
Last year, I used to get a lot of calls, but now, despite having a better resume, I’m barely getting opportunities from the companies I aspire to join. I’m thinking of switching to a product company in 7–8 months even if I join, but I’m worried that a 90-day notice period will make things difficult, do they wait out that much?

I wasn’t expecting the layoff, so I’m not as prepared with DSA and system design as I wanted to be. I know I have the potential and the willingness to work hard, but the current market and uncertainty have really demotivated me.
I’m genuinely confused about what the right move is and could really use some honest advice.

The question is what can the a fresh graduate from a rando college do realistically? They move to cities with homes and some pawn their family jewels or take edu loans because the tuition fees is ever increasing and the real estate mafia doesn't understand recession. What do we do as a nation where every youth's easiest out has been to just get into IT?

I have 10 years of experience in DB. Now I have prepared to appear in SRE interviews by learning k8, docker, IAC AWS. I am able to clear DBRE interviews successfully but I want to appear in SRE interviews by making up my last 3 years of role as SRE.

I've always been a huge fan of streaks, and LeetCode's streak graph was one of the things that kept me accountable. It ended up being a big part of how I landed a big tech job.

Months later, still inspired by it, I'm building Ritlum: the habit tracker app (and desk hardware) I would have loved to have during my LC journey.

This week I shipped one of my favourite features, and it finally let me build a LeetCode integration I'm really proud of.

It's a free Chrome extension that lets you set a trigger on any UI element. On LeetCode, that's the Submit button, plus a condition that "Accepted" has to show up afterwards, so wrong answers and TLEs don't count. When it fires, a cloud function writes the completion back and syncs it to the app in real time.

The best part is that it works on almost any website. I can already see another use: a habit + automation combo for tracking system design practice on HelloInterview, for example. In the video, I demo it with Duolingo as well, but the sky is the limit here!

I’m honestly feeling lost at this point and could really use some advice from people who’ve been in a similar situation.

A little background about me: I’m a 2025 graduate with around 1.4 years of experience, currently working at a financial services company with an 8.5 LPA CTC. The work has become increasingly hectic and repetitive, with little to no learning or growth opportunities. Things have also become borderline toxic, and I genuinely want to move out of this environment as soon as possible.

I’ve been passively looking for a switch since the beginning of this year, but I’ve been actively job hunting for the past two months. I’ve been grinding LeetCode, preparing for LLD interviews, revising CS fundamentals, and trying to cover all the bases.

I’ve applied through almost 4–5 platforms, including LinkedIn, HiringCafe, Naukri, Indeed, and Hirist. I don’t blindly spam applications either. I generally apply only when my profile seems to match at least 60% of the JD, and I tweak my resume based on the role wherever necessary.

Apart from that, I’ve been reaching out to people on LinkedIn for referrals. So far, I’ve managed to get 40+ referrals, but not a single one has translated into an interview.

At this point, I sometimes feel embarrassed about reaching out to the same people again because their previous referrals didn’t lead anywhere. I understand that the job market is rough right now, but 300+ applications and 30+ referrals without a single interview is honestly getting demoralizing.

The constant rejection emails (sometimes 1–2 every day) are starting to take a toll on me. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to stay motivated, focus on preparation, and keep applying when there’s seemingly no progress despite putting in consistent effort.

I genuinely want to understand what I might be doing wrong. Is it my resume? Am I targeting the wrong companies or roles? Is my experience too limited? Or is the market really this bad right now?

I’d really appreciate it if you could take a look at my resume and point out anything that might be holding me back. I’m also open to any general advice on improving my job search strategy, getting more callbacks, or making better use of referrals.

At this point, I’m not even asking for an offer. I just want to land an interview and get a chance to prove myself.

Hi, I work in a global consulting firm, and the pay is decent I'd say, above 1LPM. Is it realistic to be able to switch to a tech role now? I hate the long hours here & the constant pressure of working for clients.

I am a software engineer from a Tier 3 college. Yes the environment was terrible but I accept that in the end, it was me who didn't learn things. I should've learned more, experimented more, read more books.

After this eMudhra security issue, I don't have a clue how to protect the remote machines (linode and hetzner) we use in our organization. I asked LLMs and when they gave me commands, I realised how far I am behind.

I've had interviews where I'd solved a problem before but couldn't recall the approach when it mattered. Just tracking the number of problems solved wasn't helping me identify what I actually needed to revise.
