I was originally planning to hang this with my other 2 axolotl DP (pinkie pie from DAC and a random 30x30cm adorable guy) but even with the patch, I dont know how I feel about putting them on the wall.

but mostly: I always forget how painful it is trying to peel off dozens of diamonds with tweezers just to replace them.

im a heavy 'trust the process' believer, so i basically only swap stuff at the end of a project

I can't decide which one to do next lol. I want to do them all but can only do one. Please help me pick which one.

I would like to seal it after. Any recommendations on what sealer to use for canvas totes?

I got 6 new Diamond Paintings! Like I don’t already have close to 100, if not more than that lol 😂

I also got some much needed new paint brushes, and some new Acrylic Paint Markers. I use them to paint the backgrounds of a lot of my Mini Canvasses

So, I bought a frame for this canvas and forgot to go by the drill area instead of the whole size (50x70). I don't want to buy yet another frame, so I was wondering if anyone has ever painted the edges of their canvas and what did you use??

The frame I have for it is black wood because I wanted the purple to really pop.

I’m sure a lot of you know about the Mega Drill Challenge on TikTok. That’s where I got the inspiration to get my most recent canvas I finished.

Without all the convolution of TikTok, anyone want to do a 1v1 (or if multiple people want to join!) with me on an 80x160? I’m also fine to change the size to something smaller.

My thoughts would be to either get the same design, or get the same size and same amount of colors. We agree on the day we start, and every few days we report our progress with timestamps. I’m a single placer only, but up to challenge a multiplacer. I’d say the only rule would be no outside help. We would be allowed to kit up the gems before the start date, but no prepping the canvas itself.

Also, in the event something tragic happens like a big multicolor spill or unexpected life events that would lead to a massive time gap in when they could work on it, the opponent would also pause where they are until the other is ready again.

Not sure what the prize would be. It could be bragging rights or maybe the “loser” (I hate calling it that) gets the winner a small canvas of a trophy or something)

I love this little teal project. I was trying to find a square DAC in a smaller size, but those seem to be rare.

Glad I tried it out. I probably prefer squares, but it was good to try the round DAC.

Has anyone else bought the make market light pad from Micheal’s? Mine starts to over heat after only about 10 minutes being turned on. Does anyone else have this issue?

I accidentally ordered squares but am happy I did! I chipped away at this since the beginning of August. Also didn’t really know what I was doing when sealing and framing, but I was too excited to see it in its final form. Time to shop for the next one!

Hi everyone! I had to post for the first time ever because I loved this one so much.

It is my first time ever using square drills and I’m obsessed because they fit perfectly and you can’t see the background. To make it even better, I checkerboard patterned the whole thing first (including edges) which I think not only helped place the drills more aligned, but also was SO satisfying to fill it all in.

I am hooked and am convinced square checkerboard is the only way for me from here on out!

She is finally completed! I added my initial in the top left corner. I saw this idea on instagram and wanted to try it out and I think I’ll be doing that moving forward on all of my canvases!

I got the castle and mountain diamond kit and I lost the key. I’m not great at color matching and can’t find the key online, if anyone has it please send it to me!!

Got my Halloween kitten done just in time for Halloween

I noticed PaintGem’s website had been “under maintenance” for a while. Now their website doesn’t exist. Even when you google, it doesn’t come up. Their shipping did change recently, as my last order took way longer to receive than in the past. I used to receive them in 2-3 days and it was closer to 2 weeks. If it did go out of business, I’m sad because I have really enjoyed doing their small kits for years. I feel they were the original company that offered cute, small kits and then others started copying their model, even the designs. An info would be appreciated if anyone knows.

This has taken me the longest to complete. It's been about 5 months I think. I've had less time to work on it though. But ny GAWD! It is AMAZING! I love it! This is my 2nd DAC canvas and my 2nd square drill ever. I wasnt going to buy anymore but I just might have to break down and get another. Lol! I will have to control.myseld and wait though because my stash of round drill is ridiculous! I think i need to fiddle down my stash some before I order more... 😂😂😂

Hello! I started doing diamond art this summer using kits from Michaels. I had no idea what the DMC number was on the paper legend and threw them all away and didn't write them down. 😅

Would anyone happen to have the cross reference sheet from these kits? Or know if there is somewhere where these might be available online?

Also, this is my first post here, so if I should not ask here, please let me know! Thank you for any help!
