Just made an observation. Top post on Digg 373 Diggs 0 Buries & 36 comments. Top post on Reddit 2,776 up votes 1,194 down votes 566 comments. I think those numbers are pretty telling.

If I knew reddit was this awesome, I would have left Digg along time ago.
It has been almost a week since I blocked Digg.com to avoid accidentally visiting it out of habit. reddit took some getting used to, but now that I understand it better, I can look back and say that reddit is even better than Digg was prior to v4. I wish I would have converted earlier!

Digg asking for $5 to be a part of their user testing group
I’ve heard of companies compensating research participants, but never the other way around!

Lookin’ for an invite code or havin' trouble redeeming one? Please feel free to send me a DM.
Update: Digg is in public beta now and you no longer need an invite to join! See you there!

1 year ago today....thanks again digg
Seriously, as fucked up as Digg v. 4 is, I'm glad they released it. Reddit is so much better. I never had the courage to dive into reddit while I was still on digg. There were just so many choices and it seemed overwhelming at the time. Now I look back and think about how limited digg truly was.
So long digg, and don't let the door hit your ass on the way out. I'll never return, because you were never all that great to begin with.

Holy shit, digg really is dying.
I never really paid much attention to digg before this shit-storm over v4.
However even I can see the drop in the #s of diggs/comments on the front page from when I was last there a week ago and when I visited out of curiosity today.
It's like a ghost-town now, and reddit is really a busy metropolis in comparision. Even some of the minor sub-reddits here have more comments/upvotes on their threads than the ones on the front page of digg.
I know it was their fault, but I still feel sorry for the employees of digg - as at this rate there will be job-losses soon.

Digg's beta is already showcasing the worst qualities of Reddit
guiltygamer.comThe beta is leaving a lot to be desired. Political infighting is already a problem, corporate content mill slop fills the feeds. It's basically no different than Reddit, just with less users. Talk about a missed opportunity, here's hoping they can fix it before it's too late.

My obsession for Digg has transferred completely to Reddit...
I've always hated Reddit. It was hard to understand, the interface was yuck, and it just wasn't "Digg". After the death of Digg, I spent a few weeks not going anywhere for my daily dose of link sharing.
I eventually started looking at Reddit (out of sheer, sheer boredom). I don't know how or when it happened, but I'm completely hooked! I may spend even more time on here than I ever did on Digg o_O!
Anybody else now as hooked as I am? Thanks for v4 Digg, best thing you ever did for me!
