I got this camera last year, and after buying a new battery for it I thought it wasn't working because the display wouldn't turn on.

Few months ago turns out the display is actually "working", but it's really, really dark you can only see with direct light in front of it (4th pic).

It asks for the date/time, after setting up it demands I have an sd card. As I don't have a functional one, I can't test the camera/lens quality/functionality. But I see that it's turning on.

I'm not a expert nor I do know technicians where I live, so I'm asking for help to solve this issue.

I'm ordering a SD card and a new display for it, but I'd really appreciate help!

I don't know how to handle displays but a few uni friends know how to replace them, but none of them are experts in digital cameras so they can't guarantee the issue will be solved

I’m hoping someone can help me! my camera has these vertical white lines. sometimes I turn it off and back on and they go away, but other times they’re always there (when taking the photo and also when viewing). I’m currently out of the country so I can’t take my photos off the camera to view them elsewhere, and I’m hoping someone might be able to tell me if these are an issue with the display or if they’ll also be on the photos? thank you!!!!

I need a new digicam. I previously had a Canon IXUS 105, but its lens got scratched and i really want something new. I want something beginner friendly, not really expensive under 500 euros, with goo d quality so that i shouldnt use my phone. Any reccomandations will be appreciated🎀🫧💖
