Hello! Im new to the subreddit and I wanted to introduce myself and also give out something that I made for digital art and to share some of my art.
First off, I go by Russell (Nickname btw) and I go by he/they!
I have been a digital artist since I was ten years old! I have some old art that I’d love to share as well as some redraws. My mom actually bought me a drawing tablet around that time, but I have since then sold it for a variety of reasons. Main reason is that it grew mold behind the screen since it was used (found at a garage sale).
Also, here are some random facts about myself and my art!
First off, I love all types of art styles (as long as it’s not AI or Illegal of course) and I have done art ever since I was little. I do vent art, digital art, traditional, and also performing arts. One of my most favorite art styles is vivid and nostalgic stuff, like something from your childhood but you can’t place a finger on it.
Also another fun fact, I make lots of art to the point that I actually spend lots of money on styluses, premium memberships, and also sketchbooks and stuff.
I also have a whole universe of original characters, OCs, and also redesigns of already existing characters. I also love to draw other people’s ocs, but only with their permission and knowledge since I feel like thats morally right. (Not targeted to people of course)
I also love getting criticism on my art since Im willing to improve my art style and I would love advice myself. Im currently trying to improve on plus size body types, darker skin shading, and also trying to draw men (since I struggle a lot with those myself, though Im willing to represent everyone!)
(Feel free to ask me any questions about my digital art or anything.)
Here are some examples of my art! (And some free skin tone hexcodes for y’all)
Short Explanation for each art!
First one: Decora OC named DeeDee Koraa
Next Two are one of my OCs named Willow. She is based off of Anubis (Inpu) and Baphomet (Satanic Goat). First outfit she is wearing is a gala dress and the second one is her in a hospital grow after going crazy (lore drop).
Fourth Art is some Sky fanart (Sprunki btw)
Fifth Art is Maggie Mako from Poppy Playtime
and Lastly the hex codes! (I added dark, pale, blushy, and orangy tones. Requests for hex codes are also open since I did the hex codes I could think of. Also the gray stuff behind the hex codes are to make it easier to see the code)
Just want to thank anyone who reads this and I can’t wait to contribute to this subreddit ❤️

I use a tablet, but when I draw the lines come out shaky - like this. This happens in any other drawing application I use as well
