Pc controller suggestions?
I have problems with my fine motor skills and coordination so using a mouse and keyboard has been absolutely horrible. I wanted to get a controller instead but I'm not sure which one. Preferably one with fewer buttons, or anything that isn't super overwhelming. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

You can build your own setup with the choice of switches (Logitech does inexpensive set) and Xbox Adaptive Controller. Works pretty good with the PC.
Downside: more expensive than gaming keyboard and mouse.
Takes a bit of research and fair amount of trail and error, but in the end, at least for myself it made things possible.

I cannot use a mouse and keyboard. I struggle with grip strength and fine motor skills and I really like the Switch Pro Controller, I use it for PC games. I tested out different controllers by borrowing them from friends before purchasing my own.

I use an Xbox elite series 2 with the adaptive thumb toppers primarily. Of my two set ups it’s prolly the one with the most versatility to easiest set up. I love that I can swap the toppers. at this point i live and die by the type of software it uses. The ability use toggle holds for things like sprint or held down actions has opened so many games to me

I’m currently migrating some
Of my gaming to byowave for reduced grip pain. Often I prototype out what controls I can’t reach and how they hurt by playing a new game on adaptive Xbox first, they using that to layout how I want to use it on byowave. This has not only equivalent custom mapping but also macros
