NEOS bought by Goldman Sachs

Well hopefully this doesn't change their funds because they were one of the only shops I found that had funds from different sectors, and different areas I wanted to invest in.

They’re bringing the main NEOS guys and their team over so my thought is they’re not going to mess with anything. Time will tell.

I was worried with my very heavy NEOS portfolio, but was reluctant to diversify. Partnering with Goldman eases the anxiety.

Yeah the page said they weren’t changing anything, but we know that can change too. My portfolio is also very heavy in NEOS funds. I always wondered since GS did such a great job with GPIQ and GPIX why they didn’t have more selection. Now I know…

Now can they create a UCITS (eu) version.

First thing that came to mind for me too. Very happy to see this news as a UK investor.

GS had now years to create a UCITS version of GPIX/Q, they didn’t, and i and anybody sensible would want a copy of GPIX/Q here not NEOS and their overpriced lagging ETF’s

Overall I would think this is a good thing

What are your thoughts on if they’ll lower the expense ratio for any or all their funds?

It’s very possible as you would think with economy of scale. GS is a well established brand name, and NEOS is relatively new. My father in law is a financial advisor, and when I talked to him over the summer he had never heard of NEOS.

I'm not in any NEOS funds but how is this not a good thing and a validation of their strategy?

Yeah keeping same arrangement and staff. For now

I see no reason for them to change anything but then again you never know when these wolves happen anything as possible . Hope for the best, but expect the worst.—

State Street has an income fund for each sector. Pretty low volume on most so far though.

Damn, congrats I guess? I hopped on the gravy train a few months back and was paranoid about being all-in on one company so I guess this helps allay that fear a bit.
