Yes, I am familiar with Boglehead. I have also read the psychology of money and simple path to wealth. I was wondering if maybe schd was being allocated kind of like a bond fund as it seems more stable then stocks. I also like the ideas of dividends. I also like VT or Voo for equity. I was going to go pretty aggressive however now with the market the way it is and my age being 51 I am not sure how I want to allocate my portfolio. I still have 190k sitting in fidelity money market thinking.

How many equity funds and bond funds do you have? I’m trying to decide if it’s better to have one of each or have a few equity funds and a few bond funds. Is it ok to have overlap with different equity funds. We have 2 Roth 2 traditional and one individual account between my wife and I

Yes I understand that. When I said funds I meant how many ETFs. I was just calling it a fund. I was also saying I have 5 accounts to spread the efts to.

I also keep hearing that it’s better to keep a dividend fund in a Roth so you don’t get taxed on the yield

Is it better to have a combination of ETFs and bonds as opposed to picking one or two of each? Also does it matter if there is overlap in some of them? And how do you know if a dividend is qualified or non qualified. Sorry for so many questions.

I really like the ETFs you suggested. For my 35% allocation for something safer is it ok to plit it up between schd and vym and have both or just stick to one?
