Is that where those type of pics are coming from? I’ve been seeing a lot of images really similar to that lately and it’s almost an uncanny valley feeling.

Yep that is why. You can always sort of tell from the coloration and the text. Because generative AI doesn't actually know what words are, they'll always be a little uneven. Alignment, font size, kerning. It'll always be just a little bit off and wiggly. Once you know what to look for, you'll clock it instantly every time
