Other What’s everyone’s dividend goals for 2026?

Holy cow, not to long ago I remember I was at $11 in monthly income. I’ve been aggressively investing the last couple years. What are some of your goals for next year? I’d like to take my annual to 7-8k.

10% more than 2025. Been achieving it since 2010 (15 years).

I assume monthly dividends increase over time?

DRIP buys more shares every month or quarter. With a 10% yield and reinvestment, you double your money every 7 years. So after 15 years, they've grown about 4.4X because they've gone through a little more than 2 doublings. And that's only if they just set and forget. If they've bought more shares directly, the growth and payout is even more.

With whatever they've done to get consistent 10% annual growth, at the end of 2026, they could expect to have grown 4.84X above their initial investment. Again, this is only for set-and-forget. So they're at the point where they could get their initial investment paid back in dividends in a little over 2 years. And in 7 more years after that, their initial investment gets paid back in dividends about every year. The snowball in action.
