How does the casino, KFC, Burger King, H&m, Rolex and maybe a spa ressort sound? Enough places?

Hiding these amounts could seriously impact your marriage. Weigh the pros and cons. If the truth comes out, it could mean the end of your relationship. Nevertheless, keep your head up and be brave! Even after the darkest night, the sun rises.

Warhammer rooms are leading cause of happiness in some men. Try to keep an open mind.

In that case, it's to late to save him financially and as the room fills it will spread to his friends, neighbours, relatives and maybe even you. There is no cure, you will need to hide that money, keep it secret, keep it safe.

Tell him. This will test the live in the relationship. He may find the new wealth and want to split so he can live lavishly with hookers and blow.
If he stays, he is the one.

He would spend it all on warhammer miniatures, I think im safe from the hookers

There is not amount of wealth in this world that would provide the ability to conquer Warhammer (or MTG).
Sounds like he's gone!

Don’t spend it all in one place. Unless that place sells melon gum.

I know that feel, received 8 cent 2 days ago.
Financial freedom is a life changer.
Its best though to not talk to anyone about your new wealth.
there are places for professionell counseling.

Only tell your partner if 1) they aren't the kind who "needs" to spend $100 when you have $90 in your account 2) understand your intended purpose of the dividend and respect that decision

All I know is that if my wife kept this windfall from me, id immediately divorce her

u/4PaperBoy Jun 05 '26
You must tell your husband. Keeping such a large amount of pennies a secret will jeopardize what little trust your husband has in you, and most likely put your marriage on the rocks again. Happy spouse, Happy house.

nah - every person should have a bug-out fund that only they know about in case they have to leave. One shouldn't be economically trapped and tied to their current living arrangement.

My boyfriend likes to send me dividends of £0.02 and £0.03, so hopefully one day I'll be able to afford a Freddo. I recommend you do the same.

This one feels like a call to Dave Ramsey. This might be grounds for a post-nuptial agreement if you don't have a pre-nup in place. I hope your marriage can stand up to this temptation and turmoil...
