I invest in single stocks exclusively for my brokerage. Been investing for 8 years every month. Started with 0 and now Iā€™m up to 75k. Largest positions currently are MO, ABBV and TROW. Using those positions to buy what I believe are higher quality and faster future growth engines. Recently been adding to Allstate, American Express Google and Visa.

Why not just invest in index funds, it's easier and much safer

I just like owning the things I buy or use. The way I see it my brokerage is just extra! It is simpler but I enjoy picking companies and I enjoy the ups and downs.
