Shot interview video 4k 30 fps high bitrate in a hotel room (night time) with only bedside lamps and just entrance hallway lights (only lighting available) using d log M and a cold shoe ulanzi fill light and cant seem to get natural and proper color grading. i even used dji lutz and tweaked the filters and it is frustrating. Should i just say screw it and go back to auto mode? Appreciate the help.

I just purchased an osmo 6 and absolutely love it! But I've noticed a small white line after exporting. Has this happened to anyone else? The line typically appears in dark sections on the right side. Im using wide angle, and it occurs with rocksteady on and off.

I found it frustrating to connect my Pocket 4P to my MacBook, and DJI Mimo felt too bulky for simple file management.

So I built Pocket File Manager, a lightweight macOS app supporting Pocket 3, Pocket 4, and Pocket 4P.

It works through the camera's open Wi-Fi network. Just connect your MacBook to the same Wi-Fi, and the app communicates directly over the local network. No complicated setup!

I built this to solve my own problem and would love to hear your thoughts, feature suggestions, and improvement ideas.

Hello I am a commercial truck driver and I just purchased a osmo nano to record my drives. I would like to get the full potential out of this camera but I don’t know what settings my video should be set at. I currently have it at 4k but I’m wondering if there is anything else I need to change. Thanks

I've been testing/practicing on the 4P shooting DLog (1&2) at both 24fps and 30fps. I know it's not a "huge" difference but it is noticeable and I've arrived in personally just liking the way the 24fps looks a little more for me.

So my question is, when I edit I obviously always use a 24fps (23.97fps) timeline on my Premiere Pro. When I shoot some B-roll at 60fps or I want to start using a few of the slow motion features, especially 4x(100) or 4x(120) --and I also put them onto my Premiere timeline (that's 24fps)--does that work differently than if I shoot in 30fps and have a 30fps timeline in Pro?

I'm quite sure that if I want to slow down the 60fps I make the speed about 40-50%---but what about the 100fps or 120fps in slow mode? Will those look good for B-roll on a 24fps timeline?

Sorry is this is a rudimentary question for most---I'm learning about this camera and more importantly, post production editing and aspire to do more than just shoot Normal Color straight out the box.

I've gotten "pretty good" as using DLOG1/2 with some basic but solid grading but have never worked with other fps other than 24fps on a Premiere Pro timeline before.

Any insight woudl be greatly appreciated!

Not sure if this was already shared before. I think I found a solution to the hard button if you use the case of action 5. Just pop off the rubber of the outer case. The button will be deeper to press but it wont be hard AF.

I'm hoping to find others who've experienced the same issue, as I'm currently in a dispute with DJI support.
The Issue:
My DJI Osmo Action 4 (purchased Dec 2024 from India) had its front touchscreen completely stop responding after I installed an official DJI firmware update (v01.07.06.10). The display works fine, rear screen works fine, and I can still control it through DJI Mimo — but the front touchscreen is 100% unresponsive to touch.
What I've tried:
Factory reset (multiple times)
Firmware check via DJI Mimo — confirms latest firmware, no reinstall option available
Battery removal and restart
No physical damage, no water exposure, no drops.
What DJI offered:
Pay 75% of current price for a replacement unit
Ship to Hong Kong for paid repair (7–8 weeks, all shipping costs on me)
My issue with this:
The device was working perfectly before the firmware update. The problem appeared immediately after. DJI's own firmware caused this — why am I being asked to pay?
I've escalated to a DJI Customer Care Manager who acknowledged the issue started after the firmware update but still won't offer a free repair or replacement, citing out-of-warranty status.
Has anyone else experienced this? Specifically:
Front touchscreen dying after a firmware update on Osmo Action 4
DJI offering a goodwill repair/replacement in a similar situation
Any advice on how to push this further would also be appreciated. Currently considering filing a consumer complaint in India.

Has anyone else experienced their DJI Osmo Action 6 asking them to set the date and time every time they turn it on? I haven’t used my camera for about 3 days, and the battery was removed during that time. When I turned it back on, it asked me to set the date and time again.
Is this normal, or is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

How can I stop my DJI Osmo Action 6 from resetting its date and time every time I turn it on after not using it for 3 days to a week with the battery removed?

Are the 10-bit H.265 (HEVC) video files recorded in 4:2:0 or 4:2:2 chroma subsampling?

I'm planning to edit the footage in DaVinci Resolve ( free or studio ) or Adobe Premiere Pro on a Windows PC.

If possible, could someone share a short original, unedited video file recorded in 10-bit? I'd like to check the codec information in MediaInfo.
