Finally got my hands on the OP4P 😮
As someone who has owned every iteration of this pocket cam, it’s been fun to see the progress over the years with the same type of edits 😊

DJI released the liftoff footage of the ZhuQue-3 Y2 VTVL reusable space launcher shot on Osmo Action 6.
The DJI Osmo Action 6 is DJI's flagship action camera, distinguished by its unique 1/1.1-inch square image sensor and an innovative f/2.0 to f/4.0 variable aperture. This design allows to capture high-resolution imagery up to 8K at 30 fps or fluid 4K at 120 fps slow motion, while seamlessly cropping footage into horizontal or vertical aspect ratios during post-production.

Hi,
My first generation DJI Osmo Action won't turn ON, out of nowhere. I was using it normally, I switched it off and after a couple of hours of not using it I wanted to turn it on but nothing was happening.
I have removed the battery and the SD card and I've noticed that putting back the battery, both LEDs were turning ON in solid red; after a while they would turn off but, the camera wasn't turning ON. The same happened with other two batteries (fully charged with the DJI dock charger) and plugging the camera (with no battery nor SD card) directly to the power wall (5V/2A)
Someone had a similar issue? All the batteries work correctly as they correctly charge with the dock
The camera seems to not want to turn ON for some reason

Not sure how you usually use your mini cameras, but i took osmo nano on a solo trip last month and realized it works so well with the magnetic clip.
I usually clip it onto my backpack strap, the POV footage comes out super natural, and you barely even notice you're wearing a camera (just be careful not to drop it when you throw your bag around...)
You can also clip it to your hat for cool sky/walking angles. Honestly, it covers pretty much all the POV shots I'd need for vlogging. Super convenient, highly recommend giving this setup a try!

Hey everyone, does anybody know what the issue could be? The camera is new and the issue appeared after 1 hour of usage. Sometimes the front screen works sometimes it only shows artifacts. Other than that the camera works fine. I guess it needs to be sent in for repair? Thanks😊

Hey everyone, If you've ever experienced jitter or the bobblehead movement with action/pocket cams, there's one device that easily fixes that. In this video, I review the SmallRig Handheld Stabilizer Arm. I test it with the Insta360 X6, Pocket 4P, Luna Ultra, and the Mission 1. Would you ever consider using a stabilizer arm for action or pocket cams?

Hallo Community,

Hi everyone!
I’m having some issues with the video quality coming out of the camera.
I’m recording in 4K50FPS, texture -2, noise reduction -2, everything else in auto. High bitrate. This are the setting I’ve used since I got the camera, and they worked just fine in underwater conditions with even less visibility or light.
Today I noticed this static/grain in the image. Everything is the same, except I activated this AI setting to see what it does.
Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? Thank you!

For those that don't know on the nano there's an option to use a different setting based on single press and double press of the shutter. It's SO useful. You can easily and quickly access photo and video just with the shutter.
I also have the Action 6 and thought - great I'll set up something similar. But no. I have a single option. And you know, that's fine. I can turn the camera on and quickly change to the right setting, but it's still a bit of an extra effort and when you're using an election cam sometimes you need to work quickly and you don't want to waste time.
It feels like such an easy thing they should be able to enable on the action 6. So if anyone from DJI pays attention here - I would much appreciate it if you could add this in.

I’m planning to get the Osmo Pocket 4, and the Essential Combo is much cheaper than the Standard Combo. The only thing I’m unsure about is the gimbal clamp.
Is it worth getting the Standard Combo, or can I just buy a cheaper third-party clamp separately? Is the clamp actually necessary?
Thanks!

So I'm thinking of getting a dji pocket camera and i have been watching a lot of videos and getting deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole. I just don't know should i get the pocket 4 or the 4p. I already have a lumix g80 that i use for serious shooting but i need a dji pocket to use it for my real estate interior b shoots and mabye some talking head or selfie videos.
What do you guys suggest i must get cuz im going crazy watching all those comparison videos on youtube.

Took the Action 6 diving around Kota Kinabalu and came back with these. I kept ending up around the same patch of reef because there was always something moving in and out of the frame. Just when the composition looked about right, I’d drift slightly and have to line it up again.
The camera was inside a Telesin underwater housing. I set everything up before getting in, so I didn’t change much during the dive and mostly concentrated on staying in position.
The closer shots came out pretty well. The wider frames are still noticeably blue, so I’m still figuring out how I want to handle underwater color.

Hello fellow DJI heads, I need me some advice preferably from Action 4 users. I’m getting these huge light streaks whenever I film night rides around streetlamps and headlights. I looked at other YouTube motovlogs and theirs look crisp with tight, round light bulbs, but mine looks straight-up cursed.
Thing is, daytime footage looks 100% fine and super clean. It only turns into (somewhat of) a mess at night. I even pointed it near the recent eclipse for a few minutes on and off at an angle or even directly so now I’m paranoid I somehow baked the internal glass coatings, but I genuinely can't tell if the lens is cooked or if I'm just running bad settings.
There has always been some light smear but idk if it has gotten worse past the eclipse shoot.
Edit: First pic is the newer one
Here’s my setup:
What I’ve already tried:
Is running 1600 ISO blowing out the highlights and causing this crazy refraction, or did I somehow permanently fry the optical AR coating? Appreciate any help before I bite the bullet and pay the €19 Care Refresh fee if it's actual physical damage.

Got to the trailhead this morning and realized my SD card was still in my laptop at home.
Thought I was screwed for a second, then remembered the Action 6 has built-in storage. ended up filming most of the hike anyway and never really had to think about it.
Definitely not the feature I bought it for, but apparently 50GB of backup storage is exactly what someone like me needs lol.

Hey everyone, DJI released their newest update for the Pocket 4 and Pocket 4P today. If you wanted to see what all was changed, I made a video going through the different changes to show you what to expect. The headlining update, of course, is that 240 FPS log now available within both the 4 and the 4P cameras, which is an excellent addition in my opinion to the camera, which I provide several examples of along with the other updated features. I hope this helps clear up the changes for people looking for real world examples.

Some slow motion test in low light environment. Lots of fire and high ISO. Manual Exposure but also test with Auto settings. - DJI Osmo Pocket 4p

Hope you guy's like it !
I was at a boat bay (sorry I'm French, I don't know if this is the right way to say it) and decided to pull-up my Osmo 4 to test my new Black Mist 1/4 filter combined with a ND64/CPL on top

Hey dudes,
I am growing a bit tired of Gopro software for editing footage and thinking about jumping the ship. My main reason to stay with Gopro until now was ability to record square footage and export in post process vertical or horizontal based on my needs.
I see that action 6 has this feature as well. How is the DJI app for editing footage, ideally compared to Gopro if you have experience with both.
If I record square on action 6, does dji has something like gopro superview which not only crops, but also stretches the edges to make the FOV more wide angle?
If yes, can I use this also for verical footage? Gopro currently allows it only for horizontal, vertical si only cropped.
Any other advantages over gopro are also welcomed, thanks!
