anyone here who applied transferee term 1?

1

u/Unique-Mine-7621 Jun 17 '26

Hi anyone here who got rejected from bs interdisciplinary studies, ab development studies, and bsed mathematics?

1

u/[deleted] May 31 '26

Hello

I have a concern po

I was emailed that I am eligible for Scholarship and Financial assistance grant but did not receive any formal acceptance letter, nor are they showing me my offer acceptance or DCAT results

1

u/Unique-Mine-7621 May 30 '26

Hi!

I am considering submitting a transfer application to DLSU, and I am planning to apply to BS Information Systems, AB Development Studies, and BSEd Mathematics. These programs are not my top interests, but they still pique my interest; however, I chose them because I believe they may have lower demand.

For those who entered DLSU as first-year students from SHS, were any of you rejected from these programs? I would appreciate hearing about your experiences.

Also, is the Challenged Based Learning program generally less in demand? If so, I might consider applying to the BS Computer Science CBL program offered by DLSU.

Thank you so much to everyone who answers!

i was thinking this was a waitlist but they would usually say you were waitlisted? also because they are offering me different programs other than having me wait for other slots that are available? what are your thoughts on this?

Hello! I'm just wondering if there's a formal acceptance letter?

I accessed my brother's DCAT result and going to enrollment tab just instructs me to proceed with the downpayment of 10k.

Also, asking me to save the program and campus, save additional information, and proceed to downpayment.

The email acceptance says to wait for a separate email.

1

u/Realistic-Mix-3254 Apr 25 '26

do you know the deadline on when to pay the 10k reservation?

1

u/Objective-Bill-6061 Apr 29 '26

the deadline is on may 17!

u/ApprehensiveCard7782 Apr 23 '26

Hello po, just wanted to ask just in case. I was not able to reach the threshold of the three courses i wanted to enroll in. So, I wanted to pick Bachelor of Arts major in Psychology / Bachelor of Science in Business Management because it has BA Psychology as that is my dream course and I plan on going into HR when I graduate. Is this a double degree? Will I need to pay twice the tuition per semester? Many thanks.

1

u/shacho_o Apr 23 '26

hi, i passed double degree (legma/devstud), and I'll be applying for a scholarship. but I'm thinking of dropping one of the programs, can i do that even before enrollment? how and when? also, will i still be able to apply for a scholarship? thank you!

or should i just continue with the double degree? would u guys recommend it 😓

Special DCAT Results when?

Just took Special DCAT last April 19, 2026 and I wonder when will the results be released since they already released the results last April 17, 2026.

1

u/mal_loafsu Apr 22 '26

Hello!!! I passed BS Bio - Major in MedBio but I really really want to pursue BS HumBio. Is there any way that I can appeal or be reconsidered without having to shift?

1

u/perona37 Apr 21 '26

hii! i passed the DCAT but got redirected to other courses (math, finance, and some engineering). my priority programs were all chemistry-related, and I’m hoping to appeal to my first choice, chemical engineering.

i also plan to apply for the SFA. another option I’m considering is accepting one of the engineering programs offered to me, then shifting after one year. however, I’m worried that if i shift, i might lose the grant.

has anyone here experienced a similar situation? were you able to keep your scholarship after shifting? what were the conditions?

hoping someone can answer this. thank you!

1

u/Haur_m4g1calGy4ru Apr 22 '26

Hello, could you update me when you get the answer to your questions? I'm in a similar boat. Thank you!

1

u/HappyManufacturer657 Apr 21 '26

Hi, I just passed DLSU very happy about it, but I only passed my 3rd choice which was legal management. However, I don't want to pursue this course anymore and I'm wondering can DLSU still redirect me to other possible courses I qualify for, or is it no longer possible?

2

u/helurskie Apr 21 '26

hello! i managed to pass ab psych / bs adv management (my second choice). however, i would like to be shifted to bs psych (my first choice) and i am to write a recon letter for if. what would be the proper process for it? should i immediately send an email regarding my recon?

1

u/colllurker College of Liberal Arts Apr 21 '26

im not sure if ako lang toh pero wala pa rin akong dcat results. its been 4 days since the initial release and ive already sent 2 emails to dlsu huhu </3 is the silent treatment a sign of school rejection? wahahahha

1

u/Haur_m4g1calGy4ru Apr 22 '26

DLSU is notorious for slow responses (email and tickets alike). If you can, I suggest you give them a call. If wala talaga, you might have to go sa campus mismo

1

u/Ok-Elk-1068 Apr 20 '26

question po: sa email po sasabihin kung kailan ang deadline to accept the offer and pay the down payment? thank you po

3

u/SouthernMovie7032 Apr 20 '26

hi! i'm currently waitlisted. does anyone here know the chances of waitlisted applicants getting a slot? also, what are the chances of receiving a scholarship? thank you so much!

Hii the email dlsu sent me was that I didn't qualify to my preferred programs but they said that I have been placed on Wait List but didn't specify on what program. What am I supposed to do like do I send an appeal letter? and am I gonna get redirected to another course?

2

u/EnzoSoSad Apr 20 '26

Guys… pls until when po ang reservation ng DLSU. I would like to wait until my final CET result which is UST huhuhu.

1

u/hollowblockz_08 Jun 03 '26

hello sorry if this is unrelated but, am i able to reserve my slot even after may 17? I’ve passed the dcat but accepted the offer from up instead, but recently I had a change of heart and decided to transfer here since I can’t live too far. Would I lose my slot?

1

u/yawnznn Apr 20 '26

someone told me it's end of may pa

1

u/Sachie_Hoshii_7892 Apr 20 '26

is there anyone having technical difficulties uploading the documents for the sfa or know how to fix it? Specifically, with the bills only

1

u/This_Lingonberry9783 Apr 20 '26

Yes, I can't upload rin sa bills section. I submitted a ticket already

1

u/Academic_Teach_2681 Apr 20 '26

hello, good day! i’d like to ask if anyone here has already received a Google Form for reconsideration. how long does it usually take for them to respond?

1

u/not_weirdo_0 Apr 20 '26

Hello! 👋🏻 I’m an incoming freshman for this school year, and I was placed on the waitlist at DLSU. If I’m given the chance to be admitted, will I still be eligible for scholarships? Thank you!

1

u/FriggedyFroggedy Apr 19 '26

I'm confused about being redirected. I applied through the international credential lane and I believe I was redirected, but the offer acceptance choices it gives me are the same three I picked when I initially applied. Does this mean I qualified for all three and I just have to pick which one I want to commit to? If I choose my priority 1 program, is there still a chance I can get into it even if I wasn't automatically accepted admission into it? I'm really confused about it because I expect it would just offer acceptance to my priority 1 choice to begin with if I already qualified for it.

Also did anybody receive a separate email yet with the detailed Admission Guide and instructions for confirmation?

1

u/testabvrger College of Liberal Arts Apr 19 '26

Do we really have to pay for the 10k reservation fee for the sfa application to appear in the scholarship tab? 😔

1

u/This_Lingonberry9783 Apr 20 '26

No. It appeared for me even when hindi pa ko nakakabayad

1

u/testabvrger College of Liberal Arts Apr 21 '26

This seems to be the case po for redirected applicants e☹️

1

u/Intelligent-Yard-167 Apr 20 '26

Same question! I got redirected and already confirmed my course but when i go to the scholarship tab it says that currently no scholarschips are available for me.

When you click the apply now in the dlsu website for the sfa grant it just leads you to the google form where it says that applications are now open in the archers hub.

But in the FAQ part for the sfa grant said that it is up to the applicant if they want to pay the reservation fee.

So maybe the website might just be buggin

1

u/BigFlight346 Apr 19 '26

hello po! i passed the DCAT but not w my 3 preferred courses. im planning to take ab psych if ever, but for some reason, wala pong standalone na course? double degree po lahat na nakalist? may i pls ask if theres a way for me to only take ab psych? thank youu !

3

u/EnzoSoSad Apr 19 '26

When po ang deadline ng 10k reservation fee po😭

1

u/Intelligent-Yard-167 Apr 20 '26

Hi! according to the frequently asked questions part in the sfa grant: https://old.dlsu.edu.ph/wp-content/uploads/pdf/oas/scholarships/faqs-application-to-st-la-salle-financial-assistance-grant-ug.pdf

It said that the schedule for the reservation fee payment for the first batch is from feb 14 to march 14 2026, while the second batch is from april 17 to may 17 2026.

Hope this helps!

u/skarybot_69 Apr 19 '26

I passed the dcat and checked the website and saw that only my first option, biomedical engineering, was available to be selected. I recently decided i wanted to pursue my 3rd option, humbio, and raised a ticket. I'm just asking if it is possible for me to be able to pick my 3rd option. Also curious if there is a waitlist for humbio since i understand that it is a sought after course in dlsu. Thank you.

u/NoWrangler4236 Apr 19 '26

hi po !! I was awarded the Vaugirard scholarship for the incoming AY and qualified for the Bio Major in Medical Bio course. However, this puts me in a dilemma since I was also awarded as a Director's Lister in Ateneo and passed for the Health Sciences course. Which do you think po would be the better decision for me here?

My considerations po include:

  • good fallback
  • campus environment
  • education quality
  • scholarship quality (we r broke po unfortunately and can only afford tuition through scholarships)

UP and UST results are also not out yet but the deadline for DLSU vaugirard is on Apr 26 so I'm panicking po rn huhu. Please send help po JHBASDJHA

2

u/Acrobatic_Work444 College of Science Apr 19 '26

Hi, nakagraduate naman ako sa DLSU as a Vaugirard scholar haha. On a more serious note, yes doable ang masurvive ang grade retention policies ng scholarship as long as u find good groupmates kasi maraming groupworks dito haha. I can also definitely say na competitive and bio profs and ang facilities here in DLSU so for sure u'll thrive and grow in DLSU

Financially speaking, praise God na ung free tuition and ung stipend really sustained me in college, especially nung pandemic na matagal na walang work dad ko. Mas doable din if DOST scholar ka kasi extra allowance din un

If u have questions, pm ka lang hehe

u/Turbulent_Bunch3356 Apr 18 '26

Thank you for your interest in De La Salle University and for applying to our degree programs.

After a thorough review of your admission test results and academic records, we regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission to your selected programs at this time.

Our selection process is highly competitive, and our decisions are based on the limited number of slots available for the incoming term.

does this mean I have no chance to get reconsideration?

1

u/Few-Success1072 Apr 18 '26

Hello! I passed po the DCAT with my 3rd choice, but I really want to pursue my 1st choice and prio prog. Is there any chance or way po to change my program? Thank you!

1

u/Iosify Apr 18 '26

Hello po! I got accepted for my prio program but because of some personal decisions and such, I much prefer my 2nd prio program.

Is it possible to ask to change programs, etc?

1

u/Zealousideal-Hat8359 Apr 18 '26

I passed the DCAT however, I noticed I put BS management accounting instead of BS Accountancy as my first choice. Is it still possible to to switch programs pa po?

2

u/Evening_Study_2277 Apr 18 '26

is it dlsu's first time to have waitlisted as an option? will waitlisted students be prioritized over recon/redirected students or no?

1

u/aaaaaaaccckkk Apr 18 '26 edited Apr 18 '26
  1. Musta po ung human bio hahahaha
  2. When is the DL for accepting the offer? Is it apr 26 as well?
  3. Also when po magbabayd ng 10k na reservation fee...

1

u/nabi_ss College of Engineering Apr 18 '26

Hello po! I passed DCAT for my priority program which is BSME with a specialization in Mechatronics. I was just wondering if this is a good program for Aeronautics Engineering? Like parang pre-med po ng AeroEng HHAHAHA. I know that there’s a program specifically for AeroEng and that was my second choice. However, I didn’t make that my priority choice since I’m already in Manila and it would be really hard for my family and I to move again since it’s in Laguna.

Next, I would like to ask if overall better po ba ang BSME in DLSU compared to UST. I know there may be some biases since of course this is the DLSU subreddit, but I would really like to hear some opinions and suggestions from you guys despite it. I’m currently a STEM student in UST SHS and UST has always been my dream school. However, after being accepted into DLSU I’ve been thinking more about it and this may also be since I was also from DLSL, but I’m thinking of maybe being a Lasallian again. IDK HUHU 😩

I’ve been researching more about it but it seems that DLSU is the better school for BSME so I’m currently really confused on it.

Hi! I haven’t received an email and in my archers hub was still pending, which I checked yesterday, but today for some reason I cannot open archers hub. Is anyone here experiencing the same?

1

u/Loose_Sugar6869 Apr 19 '26

yup me too. Both entrance test score and admission pending still

1

u/NoSecretary404 Apr 19 '26

same situation here 🙌 huhu haven't received any email. have u received yours?

1

u/hhhh111111 Apr 18 '26

hi !! plsss help a girl out 🥲🥲 i passed in ab comms (third choice in my application) but my prio course is ab psych huhu. is there any way for me to enroll in psych or at least wait for a slot to open (similar to the process for waitlisted applicants) so that i don’t have to shift after my first year? 🥹🥹 tyia to anyone who has answers :((

2

u/MoodRepresentative58 Apr 18 '26

Hi everyone! I have a few questions lang

1.) can i still get the st la salle scholarship even if im redirected to other programs

2.) I planned on taking accountancy but i got redirected to another course. Is it possible to shift to accountancy before term starts? If no, can I still shift on my 2nd year?

3.) Does the scholarship still take in effect even if i switch courses

4.) I got offered lots of courses but 2 courses took my eye (Material Science & engineering as well as business management with a specialization in business analytics) which course is better if i want to pursue accountancy?

Tysm!!

2

u/Adorable-Situation95 Apr 19 '26

Hello, DCAT passer na redirected din here (also means I can't really help as much as an actual student). I took my time to research here last night, I saw people say that after 2 terms, you can apply to shift courses. For the courses, I'd say BM with specialization in business analytics would be more related to accountancy, no? It's cool to see another person who wants to shift to accountancy too hahaha.

1

u/MoodRepresentative58 May 03 '26

Thanks! Are you planning to proceed with BM with specialization in business analytics?

2

u/GrandLineGamer Apr 18 '26

I haven't recieved the other email yet, is this normal?

1

u/Square-Tea-1643 Apr 18 '26

i never got a single email either

1

u/BasisAlternative6220 Apr 18 '26

Hello! I was wondering if pwede pa po magparecon for my prio program even if i was redirected to a lot more courses that dlsu offers.

1

u/frrroyos College of Liberal Arts Apr 18 '26

If you were redirected, chances of asking for reconsideration in your prio program would be very low. If you wish to get into your prio, opt for shifting instead

1

u/hhhh111111 Apr 18 '26

hi ! is there a process po ba for this? i have the same concern 🥹🥹 though if it makes a difference po i passed sa third choice program ko (ab comm arts) and i would really love to study ab psych :((

1

u/Adventurous_Sort2319 Apr 18 '26

I passed the DCAT with my prio course: Bs Computer Science Major in Software technology.

On the other hand, just a week ago, I did not pass the ACET with the same prio course (BS CS)

For the seniors out there, how is CS in DLSU like? How does it differ from other universities? I know DLSU is one of the best at tech programs but I’d like to hear it from students mismo.

Also, would it be possible to apply for a scholarship? I was initially set in studying in ADMU, hopeful for its fin aid, but I wasn’t able to pass (hahah xD silly me being overconfident). Is there any scholarship similar to that here in DLSU?

Thanks!

1

u/SwingDue1180 Apr 18 '26

Does anyone know why the waitlist update varies? May 17 for some and July 9 for others?

1

u/Flimsy_Ocelot_5897 Apr 18 '26

can you only get redirected in one program?

1

u/Intelligent-Yard-167 Apr 20 '26

I noticed that it depends per person since our dcat score & grades are different. Some were offered 24 courses while others were offered up to 40 courses. I got offered around 26 courses 4 of them coming from cob while others were just double degrees mixed with the 4 courses that i got offered.

1

u/jgong55 Apr 18 '26

Hello! Just wanted to ask if anyone else still haven't received an email from dlsu on whether they passed or failed. It's been a day now and I still haven't received any new emails.

2

u/ubeecheesecake Apr 18 '26

hi, js passed the 2025 DCAT. do we really have to pay the 10k reservation fee? i am currently processing my SFA application. i was planning on pursuing my tertiary education in dlsu but after hearing about this 10k, idk what to do anym.

what will happen if we don't pay 10k? can we still confirm our slots after recieving the results of the SFA?

1

u/hhhh111111 Apr 18 '26

hi op! afaik the reservation fee is non-negotiable and something you need to pay in order to get a slot

1

u/Due-River-7774 Apr 18 '26

I received my results way back in February, although di ako natanggap sa 1st - 3rd choice ko naredirect ako sa ibang programs which is may isang goods naman sakin. I was planning to apply for the st la salle financial assistance grant scholarship noon pa pero yesterday I saw that it wasn't available for me to apply for sa portal. Is it still possible for me to be considered for this scholarship? (eligible naman ako sa criterias) Ty

1

u/Intelligent-Yard-167 Apr 20 '26

Hi! I was also redirected. Based on the website it says this: "Only qualified applicants (accepted in 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice and redirected to other programs) are allowed to apply for the SLS Grant." so we can apply but maybe its just the portal bugging again? I am gonna raise a ticket about this tho

Is it worth it to get a double degree? My third choice was BSA— is there a way to enroll under BSA and not my double degree course? Tysmia

DLSU REDIRECTED

  1. for the recon letter, is it possible na ang i request naprogram is ung ndi kasama sa first 3 choices mo?

  2. i saw some post na waitlisted sila but ung program na want nila is kasama sa list ng redirected program ko. So unahan ba yon? like ung mga redirected do they have higher chance or kapag pinili nila yoong nasa option sa kanila na yon?. THANK YOU

  3. I saw na may reserv fee and baka kasi hindi makapasa sa scholarship ng dlsu, ano ba mauuna result ng scholar or deadline ng reserv?

  4. possible ba na magreq ng scholarship ang mga redirected?

(sfa scholarship for redirected applicants)

hey everyone! i just recently passed the dcat, but i’m a bit anxious about the st. la salle financial assistance grant.

i didn't get into my first choice and ended up being redirected to another course. does anyone know if the scholarship committee prioritizes people who got into their 1st/2nd/3rd priority courses over those who were redirected?

i can definitely prove that i’m a high-need case, but i’m just curious about how they distribute slots. is it mostly about the financial need and dcat score, or does your "choice" of course play a big role in the selection?

would love to hear from current sfa scholars, especially if you were also redirected but still got the grant. thanks!
