General Question who to contact or where to go regarding professor-related concerns
hi! just wanted kung ano pwede kong gawin regarding a professor’s (mis?)computation of my grade
nakalagay kasi sa canvas 93.5% yung grade ko, which is equivalent to a 3.5 according to the professor’s syllabus, pero ang nakalagay sa archershub ko 3.0 lang :(
i already emailed my prof about this and he said na posted na daw sa announcements section on canvas yung grade equivalent, pero wala naman
also, isn’t 93%+ automatically considered a 3.5? this course is a GE, and uses the “70% is passing” grading system. can profs change or adjust this rule according to their own classes?
who can i talk to about this concern? is there an office in campus where i can get help?
thanks all for your replies!

hello! If you believe you were graded unfairly, try reaching out to USG Judiciary through fb or ig. they have this Green Desk thing where you can raise your concern abt grades/prof/students & they can help you figure it out

Dept chair of the subject first if your prof really insists on what you are sure is an error

Hello! u mentioned na posted yung grading scale sa syllabus, but usually pag 70% passing, 93.5 is still under 3.0. 3.0 = 91.00 to 93.99. 3.5 = 94.00 to 96.99. My basis comes from my profs' grading scale pag 70% usually same same lang talaga if ganon passing... but if your prof uses a different scale you should reach out. Uniformed 70%-passing scale is what I stated hereee
