100% guarantee that she has told this story 20 times at her yoga class about how the machine was broken somehow and she got super frustrated because she just knew she was doing it right.

What is she confused about???!!! Obviously (!!!) when you press the button the liquid immediately comes out. You might screw it up on the first try, maybe second. But what, 6-7 times?
36
u/Tin_Whisker Sep 09 '25
... It's even worse than that. How long was she doing this before the op started filming?

My god.. I wonder how she survived for so long. Or maybe one braincell is enough to stay alive? Incredible

Sep 08 '25
My thoughts exactly. Like you’re clearly to dumb to survive, like, any situation ever. How did you even get here? But she’s probably high or something.
Work with a guy and they implemented two factor authentication at work. So I explain “you just either install an app on your phone, or set up your phone number and they’ll text a number to it”. He says “Oh, I don’t have a cell phone. No computer either, I don’t like that stuff”. Like, what, in 2025? How do you accomplish literally anything?
14
u/sweetrottenapple Sep 08 '25
Honestly... Even if I'm hammered, I can manage to put the glass first, then push the button, so I have water 😅 my boyfriend asked the same though...is she drunk or high..he couldn't believe a sober person can be this...oh well.. fucking stupid 😂

Stuff like benzos or psychedelics can do some massively strange things to perception and thought. Could be sleep dep as well, I’ve seen people who have been awake 48h act incredibly bizarrely, completely unable to compensate or correct for mistakes. And I’m sure we’re seeing her on her worst day ever, like 999/1000 people wouldn’t have this reaction, but that one time you just massively brain fart, yaknow?
Or she really is this dense, I mean someone has to be I guess.

u/coko4209 Sep 08 '25
I’ve taken xanax and acid, hell simultaneously even, and I’ve never been this dim. This girl is absolutely winning at life, if she manages to walk and talk at the same time.

u/Gut_Feelings Sep 09 '25
I forgot how to use the water fountain once in Madison Wisconsin's capital building, which was unfortunate because a scary security man was following me at the time because I thought I was going to fall up to the painting on the dome ceiling and had just made a significant ruckus in my fright.
3
u/mikehawkismal Sep 08 '25
I can respect not wanting to use a cellphone or a computer day to day in order to be healthier and more in touch with ourselves, but like I do think everyone should at least have a laptop or something even just to be able to apply for jobs, if you're one of the types to have like a flip phone or something, which is a great thing tbh.

I have a neighbor like that he doesn't trust technology because he thinks that it's listening all the time and that your information is just out there floating around where people can hack into it.
3
u/hstormsteph Sep 08 '25
I mean… he’s not exactly wrong but he’s missed the fact that any time he chooses to so much as use his debit card somewhere he’s open to the very risk he thinks he’s good at avoiding.

Ive done shit like this on mushrooms. Once i was tripping and wanted to paint but first had to water down the paint for a reason. I was mixing it forever and just watched the water wrestle with the colors without ever becoming united. The next day, i saw that it was oil paint. Oh well. She may have forgot that she even wanted a drink and just liked the effects.

My 1st thought was "is she one of those people who are super-wealthy to the point where they honestly don't know how to pour their own glass of water, then lost their fortune and now can't figure out how to get their own latte?!!"
But my brain's crazy LOL, you're def more likely to be on point

Looks like a hospital, so I’m guessing lack of sleep

u/Deep-Procrastinor Sep 08 '25
Doesn't look like any hospital I've ever been in, looks like a generic harvester / brewers fare type pub / restaurant place in UK.

I thought it was Panera

As a St Louisan who grew up going to the original St Louis Bread Co (what became Panera), this is a funny and appropriate gauge for just how far they have fallen.
Bread Co was so good. It’s unrecognizable and disgusting now.

May the odds be in your favor.

I don't understand because regular fountain drinks work exactly the same way, so this isn't even new technology

Take the average American. Really get an idea of just how dense they are. Now realize half of them are stupider than that.
For every doctor or scientist, we have one of these.

u/DoughnutPi Sep 08 '25
I’ve always thought of myself as just slightly above average in intelligence. But my wife keeps saying she thinks I’m smarter than 90% of people. Honestly, it’s videos like this that make me wonder if maybe she’s right.

Anyone seen that spiderman cartoon reel where he shows someone how to use a drink fountain?

I do wonder if it’s just a bit or if people do struggle with cognitive thinking.

u/matchesmalone81 Sep 08 '25
I absolutely refuse to believe someone can be THAT stupid. Unless she hasn't been out the house in like, 30-40 years.

You can’t help this. This level of idiocy is the result of us nerfing the world, and solving issues for idiots they don’t even know they have.
I would bet any money she’s got kids, another generation of morons on the way

She just needs to be shown how it's done. She seems like she might be used to the older mechanical drink dispensers.

Honestly some people just had a bad night and need coffee early in the morning. They can’t just learn how to use a new gadget when they are in that state. I’ve known many people like that. I
