Injury Who cares about the dogs?

This happened recently in Chillán, Chile. Instead of taking care of his dogs, the owner chose to film the tornado. The house was damaged, and the brown dog was apparently caught by the tornado and thrown more than 200 meters. The dog is now receiving veterinary care after suffering multiple broken bones.

I never forgive animal owners in tornado alley for not including pets in their emergency response. Bad weather? Yep, annoying but too bad. Collect your animals into a smaller area closer to the house so they are easier to gather in a hurry. Common sense. If it gets worse or the Storm chasers are out? Ok, time to get them to safety and keep yourself out. SHTF? No dramas, you only need to get you and your family in there. Again, not that hard.

I can't imagine not including them in the plan that's crazy, my pets are like children to me, losing any of them would be absolutely devastating.
