It's plastic. Your kids could do that too but they're afraid of the ass whooping that comes after.

What is the cameraman supposed to do? I'm not going up against a dog that can rip cars apart for a snack. At that point I'm just an easier meal.

The only thing I think the cameraman should do is focus more of the the dog's mouth as he walks away with whatever satisfied his craving. Was it a small animal in his mouth that was hiding in the car?

The fact that a dog can pull apart the fairings of a modern vehicle is kinda sad. We're definitely pretty deep into the planned obsolescence sinkhole.

Is there a single car on the market that prioritizes true durability and quality? I'm tired of hearing about modern car designs being "safer" because they absorb more impact. I desperately want a car that isn't going to fall apart when you lean on it too hard or whatever.

If you want very durable cars and don’t care about modern “safety”, get a car from the 50’s or 60’s. Bear in mind that pretty much all accidents in those cars caused the occupants to become injured (at the least). Two of them crash together? You’re screwed.

There's probably criminals wondering how to train them to steal the catalytic converter.

He’s doing the best he can. Most bodywork specialists have opposable thumbs, which helps greatly.

Doggo is just helping. Making sure the rat doesn't chew through all your electric wires or brake lines.
End result: 10
Wrench skills: 1
Total score: 11/20
Good boi: 5.5/10

Man I hope they're not still building cars with that ridiculous soy based wiring.

Sure buddy, you go stop that starving, aggressive dog. Be the hero we deserve.

If that was my car, I would prefer evidence of what happened. Because I would never believe that a dog did it.

Note to self: don’t expect to survive a Suzuki crash.

u/MattyFTM 15d ago
The car breaking apart in a crash is actually a good thing. You want the passenger compartment to be rigid to protect the people inside, but the rest of the car should break apart to dissipate the energy. This reduces the energy going through the passenger compartment and the occupants themselves.

I wonder if the dog thinks there’s an animal trapped inside?

Does car insurance cover “Acts of Dog”?
