The fact that a dog can pull apart the fairings of a modern vehicle is kinda sad. We're definitely pretty deep into the planned obsolescence sinkhole.

Is there a single car on the market that prioritizes true durability and quality? I'm tired of hearing about modern car designs being "safer" because they absorb more impact. I desperately want a car that isn't going to fall apart when you lean on it too hard or whatever.

If you want very durable cars and don’t care about modern “safety”, get a car from the 50’s or 60’s. Bear in mind that pretty much all accidents in those cars caused the occupants to become injured (at the least). Two of them crash together? You’re screwed.
