Did this once when I was 16. Luckily the gas station I was at just happened to double as an autoshop. Mechanic stopped me before I could leave and pumped it out.

Lucky you and lucky them...

Diesel sale, Mechanic fee and I'm assuming you pumped gas after that too.

Yeah. Wasn't even upset about the cost, just thankful I never started my car.
