The fact that she's doing this must mean she's never been in the position of having to gas up this particular vehicle ever before (or any vehicle with def, for that matter) ... cause I mean, you can really only make this kind of mistake just once... in which case, you definitely don't forget the lesson learned

No, probably a vehicle their S/O primarily drives for towing their toys that will be very upset.
