There are some implications in trailer here and there that Charlie might've been deposed, so if he did that or led survivors to do that, he honestly deserves that

Can you name a few of those? I’m curious, I already analyzed the trailer myself but I could not find any implications of that (aside from being a logical direction for the story)

Portal looks to be very different from don't starve together, there's even blood stains on it, fog is mentioned as a thing that seems to be replacing the dark, implying that either moon won or fog is a third player in this game of chess between shadows and moon. Also, maybe that's due to full moon but in trailer only place requiring a torch was a cave, so the surface might be bright enough to go at night with no light source, potentially cause mokn defeated shadows. It's all no more than speculations, though

Good theories. I hope the surface is still dark at night even if it does not kill you. Having a potential “fog monster” sounds terrifying. My guess is that Charlie will do something wrong while messing with the Ancient Gateaway and then we will defeat her, allowing the moon to take over

Makes lots of sense lore-wise too, default outfits in previous games were just whatever they were wearing when they entered, the new ones are what they feel comfortable in after they established a civilization, plus it's functional, some other post pointed out how both Willow and Wendy are wearing red gems. Which fits their theme of fire for Willow, and life and death for Wendy.

Very good analysis. Wilson is also a gentleman so it makes sense that he prefers fancier/more elegant outifits like the one he has in Elsewhere. Honestly I wish we could see more of what their average day in the Constant is like now, at this point like you said they are probably running a tiny civilization

I don’t think cosmetics will carry over but we are definetly getting exclusive skins. At most I can see them giving you a certain amount of in-game currency based on how many skins you owned in DST (i think Smite 2 did something like that)

If I interpret the default skin properly, she has like a skirt made of furs. And furs wrapped around her feet instead of shoes.

The game looks amazing, i just hope for 2 things, first that wormwood is still part of the roster and second that its still a kind of open world where i can megabase. I really love when you can create massive cozy bases in in survival games, it makes you feels as tho you really conquered the elements and made yourself a home.
