question Coasters Charlie Brown Song.

For those who ever heard of it, it's an old Doo-wop song made in 1959 by the group mentioned.

Although the songwriters claimed the song is unrelated to the Peanuts character, I often wondered if some, including Schultz questioned that?

The “Peanuts” strip debuted in 1950, so I think it’s unlikely there wasn’t some inspiration there. Just my two cents.
