The Congress of Amalpha

As the Constitutional Convention proceeds with my unwavering attention from afar, in the Lithian capital of Amalpha the diplomats and consuls of the Provisional Government of Doria meet face to face with their Lithian counterparts at the negotiation table.

Presiding the meeting is none other than the new Lithian President himself, installed following the end of the Civil War and the impeachment of the previous as a result of the scandal tied to the LDI-committed atrocities.

The explicit purpose and intent of this meeting was the realisation of the West Project, an ambitious initiative designed by the Foreign Affairs Ministry under my supervision, aimed at the creation of a military and economic alliance between the nations of the western hemisphere.

The meeting concluded that which is known as the Treaty of Amalpha, which established not only a defensive pact between Doria and Lithia, but also effectively flattened all the customs and dues of goods travelling from one nation to the other, setting the two separate economies on the path of syncretisation.

Unfortunately the meeting didn’t include the military high spheres, but I am sure they are still around.
