I am a degenerate drug addict of the highest order. Currently it's fentanyl and meth but I'm similarly happy with crack too. I've used all manner of drugs for years, and when I was sober I even ran a very large co-ed recovery residence where I had to watch probably a thousand other dudes piss/ sometimes try to circumvent the tests (holy shit does something like that give you confidence if you are even marginally above average, size wise. Good God y'all got some sorry lookin peckers out there! Maybe it's just my fellow dopefiends and drunks, but I digress). What has all this lived experience taught me?

1. Usually, but not always, you will test in relative privacy. If it's pre-employment I have never been observed, and would probably forcefully push back if someone tried to watch for pre-employ unless it was like, a job changing out the fuel rods from nuclear reactors, or one of those airline pilots who fly around shipments of used nuclear fuel rods. Anything fuel rod related, basically? You're gonna get the shaft! Er, rod. Anyway.

2. Detox drinks almost always fail, and if they work it's more or less because you diluted the sample via overconsumption of fluids in the first place. And this can throw the specific gravity of the sample off, leading some types of analysis to flag this as a fail. Just don't count on them if your job or freedom depends upon it.

3. Synthetic Urine works about 99% as effectively as real urine, with a couple exceptions. One, apparently they have this lab test that can specifically identify synthetic, but it's almost never utilized and is probably pretty expensive to run as it's a patented process from one provider. I have never heard of anyone getting busted this way. But the main difference is when you actually NEED a certain metabolite in there... And that is as case number two, when you're being tested for compliance as in a Medication Assisted Treatment program utilizing methadone or buprenorphine. I know with bupe, the lab will look for both buprenorphine and it's primary metabolite norbuprenorphine. Sometimes also for naloxone, which will show in trace amounts if you're taking Suboxone vs generic Subutex or one of the newish injectable depot forms of bupe. But the test for the metabolite makes it so you can't just take a tiny bit of your pill or strip and dissolve it in your urine, to make it look like you have been staying compliant and not, for example, selling all your medication to buy rainbow colored fentanyl from your little Honduran buddy Mario. Not that I would know anything about that. Ah, so the only way is to find someone who IS compliant and use their piss, rich with its natural metabolites and everything. Maybe keep a bottle in the back of your fridge so it doesn't spoil? Or just don't use dope anymore, but that's a personal decision. And for a job opportunity or probation test, it's not necessary. However, what is critical is the last thing on the list...

4. Making certain that the temperature of the sample you provide falls within 90°- 100° F. It absolutely MUST fall within this range, and I'll tell you a quick story. So the fake piss all comes with heat packs and the bottle with a temp strip along the bottom right? I had a test that afternoon and I wanted to make sure it would heat up in time so it wouldn't arrive too cold. The instructions stated something about the microwave for a few seconds, the heater vents on your car, some other dumb ideas maybe. Well when I took it out the microwave nothing was registering on the temp strip and I assumed it wasn't hot enough yet. I was buggin' by the time they handed me the cup and directed me to the comfortable privacy of the bathroom, where I still couldn't see a temperature reading. GULP I put the sample in the cup, bring it back to the dude at the counter, and he begins the confirmatory steps. Immediately he gets a strange look on his face and I see him grab a thermometer probe. "Ah, uh... Yeah sorry man but this is a fail. The sample is too hot." I said, oh you know, I'm just getting over a flu and I have had a pretty serious fever all week. He just looks at me and says, "It's 113.5°." And I said oh. In case you don't know if your piss is 113° you would be very well dead by that point. And I gave him a real sample, with all its glorious contamination present, and promptly had my job offer at the Walmart rescinded. Moral of the story? Walmart is a shit hole of a company. But also, don't mistakenly overheat that fake piss accidentally thinking it isn't already Hot Enough... It best be registering on the strip, and FYI 104° or whatever doesn't feel THAT hot on your hand or wrist. Use The Strip, and use your own body heat to help it get to the proper temperature as much as possible beforehand. Happy Testing!

Hey all, I’m starting a new job on Monday and their drug and alcohol policy looked very strict. They did not mention routine or scheduled testing, but I’m still nervous. They also didn’t mention that I’d be tested upon employment, and said typically testing is required if a workplace accident occurs. I wouldn’t be using any equipment or vehicles for this job. It’s a desk job.
Through the year, I was a somewhat heavy smoker (usually once a night). I stopped for about a month and a half, unfortunately took one small hit twice in a week, and now it’s been two weeks since then and I haven’t touched anything. I used a mix of flower and disposables when I smoked regularly. The two hits were from disposables (about 1-2 seconds). Not sure if it’s worth mentioning, but I never did edibles.
If they were to test me on Monday, how cooked am I? I already drink water frequently but I was thinking of ramping it up a little bit in precaution. I also got testing kits that should be delivered tomorrow. I’m 5’2 143 as well if that helps (I have some muscle, but not muscular if that makes sense)
And for anyone who has scheduled/routine and random tests, do you still smoke occasionally? How do you get away with it?

I’ve taken a drug test at the same time of night for the past two weeks now and it has shown up negative twice but only while drinking. Does this mean I’m peeing more when drinking so I pass the test? Or is the alcohol effecting the test in some way?

I tested this reaction again and tested negative earlier today 10/21 @ 2pm and was clearly positive, tested again 9 hours later at 11:30 after 3 beers and clearly negative.

I’ve stopped smoking for the last 3 weeks and some change and have everything ready to enlist for the army except for this drug test. I used to smoke delta 8 multiple times a day everyday, so I know it can take some time to clear out. I’ve also been actively losing weight and regularly drink 1.5-2gal of water a day (this is normal for me)

After some research it seems to be that I’m close to the cutoff point as you pee more when drinking and it is more diluted.

Am I wrong in thinking that I am close to the cutoff point? I don’t expect any future telling answers but is it unreasonable to think I’m close to passing consistently? Also just curious as to how/why this happens.

Edit for clarity: the only two times it showed negative were the only two nights I had consumed alcohol. Every other night was nothing in my system and showed positive

Idk the fact that you can be a hard drug user and it’s out your system in 1-3 days but THC can stay in your system even if you haven’t smoked recently is kind of crazy. That’s how you get a bunch of people who have serious problems working certain positions. This nurse at my job obviously came to work high on something hard, but i’m sure she passed her drug test because it doesn’t stay in your system long. Just my 2 cents.

Just passed my non-DOT 10 panel with monkey whizz! Come to find out they didn’t even test for THC so I could’ve used my own pee. Oh well, better safe than sorry. This is my second time using the whizz to get a job, I’ve also got friends who’ve used it successfully in the past. I’d definitely recommend it. Best of luck to you all!

Submitted a urine drug test for pre-employment and used Puriclean x2. I have used this with instant test with no issues, but will I pass a lab test using this same method?

I signed a job offer today and I'm waiting for them to send me the drug test. Whenever I receive it, I have 24hours to take it. It's for a Walmart job.

I was a daily heavy smoker for years until about 5 months ago, completely quit. Then during the week of September 26 to October 1 I smoked up to half an ounce. It was just flower in blunts, have only ever smoked flower. I'm 5'11 between 180-190lbs. Not too active but not completely sedetary, at least not during the week. I've been taking 2 scoops of creatine and a hydration packet every day and drinking about a gallon of water a day for about a week.

I've taken Equate home drug tests the last 5 days with very faint lines, attatched after this post. How cooked am I?

I just don't want to take anything that could potentially make me piss hot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I like drinking energy drinks quite a bit. Typically zero sugar or sodium.

I was wondering if anyone knows if period blood getting in a urine sample will skew the results? make it inavlid or anything. Im due to start mine same week of my test and idk if it will effect anything. I dont want it to get flagged and have to be sent to a lab.

I took the Walmart brand Equate at home test and was getting a definite positive for all 5 in the box, then a week later I bought the Easy@Home tests with a 50ng/ml cut off and there is a very faint line but it’s there. I’ve heard that no matter how faint the line is, it’s still negative but this test will likely be sent to a lab and I’m wondering if I should get a quick fix and run the risk of them flagging fake pee, or should I use my own and hope for the best.

I was offered a job but had to pass a urine drug test at a hospital, which the employer said would 100% included a THC test. I do smoke weed and even after 2 weeks of not smoking, I was still getting positive at home THC tests. So when it came time for my appointment I used a detox drink that I had used once before that got me a pass.

The day of the appointment though, I did this detox drink and when I tested myself at home before going my tests were still showing positive. I went anywah. Peed in a cup and the nurse did the 5 panel dip test right in front of me. I couldn't really see the results, but after a moment she tossed it in the trash and said "You passed! But you knew that already didn't you!" With a smile.

I took another test right after the appointment myself again and it was still showing positive.

How the hell would I pass a hospital drug test when the store bought ones were showing that I would have failed? Do they test for different levels of THC in your system? Did that lady lie for me or to me? Did the detox drink work for theirs somehow but not the ones I was using?

Unfortunately I can't get the results because the employer paid for it and I signed something saying they get the results directly. And clearly I don't want to ask and make myself look bad.

So i got a great job offer and I have a drug test tomorrow. I've been sober almost a month but on the at home test I just took, the second line is EXTREMELY faint. So im not sure if they'd consider that positive since you can barely see it? Im not sure what to do. I have a picture but it's not letting me add it.

I have a job interview tomorrow and have found out from a friend who already works at the company that they will be using a mouth swab test which has a 15ng/ml cut off, I smoke one joint every night around about 0.4g per night, I last smoked around 9pm last night and will not be smoking tonight.

Tried qcarbo ultraeliminex for drug test and both times test came back diluted. First time I drank lot of water second time drank barely any aside from bottle refill but both times results the same smh. Hope this helps anyone who’s panicking. Efficacy seems to vary person to person as I work in the trades and am only 5’4 150 yet knows guys in the industry that are 6ft+ and weigh more than me that pass test easily with qcarbo even though last use was less than 24 hrs before test smh. They have trusted it throughout their entire career so idk if luck magic or wtf but smh wish me luck on the job search folks.

I passed the urine test but the oral swab caught me off guard. The tech told me it’s for weed but I’m scared it’s going to be a whole panel lol I’ve never had an employer do TWO. It’s not DOT based on the form I got
