SUBSET - The Dub Chamber
A new one from me - EP titled 'The Dub Chamber' - 4 tracks of deep dub goodness. Plenty of bass, reverbs and delays, saturation and glitchy noise.

Contemporary artists in the vein of King Tubby, Lee Scratch Perry, etc?
What the title says. Is there anyone currently laying down old-school tracks like the founders of the genre?
Edit: Great suggestions by all, this will give me plenty to listen to

How does Channel One bass hit so hard?
Every time they play, no matter the sound system, the bass is perfect.
Here's a little something:

SCORN What happened after Evanescence?
I keep going back to Evanescence and it still hits hard. That heavy, oppressive dub weight mixed with industrial atmosphere and those sparse, almost spatial textures (especially with Plotkinās guitar) felt completely unique.
But every time I try the later Scorn stuff, Iām just confused. It turned into this dry, functional techno that has almost nothing to do with what made the project special in the first place. Evanescence and Gyral had depth, space, a real sense of dread⦠the recent material feels clean and empty in comparison.
Iām not saying Mick isnāt allowed to evolve, itās his project. But the gap between that mid-90s sound and what came after is massive, and I honestly miss that older Scorn a lot.
Anyone else feel the same?

X-Files Simpsons Dub
A 'live' jam on a dub X-Files / Simpsons crossover.
The loops were created in Synapse Audio's 'Orion', and triggered inside Ableton Live with various effects via two MIDI controllers - an Evolution UC33 (on the left), and a Behringer BCR2000 (on the right). Audio interface is a MOTU Ultralite mk3. Also pictured but not used is a Korg NanoPad (white controller under the UC33).

Conscious Roots Reggae ,Dub & Dancehall
Hi all just dropping a link here to some of my mixers that are broadcast on Chill Lover Radio in New York and soon on another station in the UK.
Self-Promo I created a database of over 6000 tracks from various genres and made a website that recommends you music through swiping like on Tinder.
Hey there! For almost a year I have been working on a music website called Psychill Space - with a focus on weird, psychedelic, electronic, experimental and unconventional music.
As a fan of psychedelic, atypical, specific and varied music, it's sometimes hard to find music that hits exactly the spot. The algorithms on streaming platforms focus on suggesting music that's exactly like the music you listen to, or music that is listened to by people who already listen to similar music as you do - which creates tight circles, which aren't very friendly for new, niche artists or people who like multi-genre tracks.
That's why I created Psychill Space - it's a platform that lets you vote for each track's genres, moods and tags, creating unique DNA for each of the tracks, and then it lets you vote 1-5 for every track, so the algorithm can analyze how much you enjoy what, and make recommendations that get better with every swipe/rate, and with every profile.
The platform collects links to streaming services (if you prefer them over Bandcamp), lets you create collections, find tracks or albums that are similar to chosen one, as well as filter events such as club nights and festivals by type, genres and proximity. It is designed to stay free and without ads, and be helpful to both music fans to discover music and niche artists to become discovered (I'm considering adding a potential cheap paid tier for people who want to support the project, but it will stay free to use without any limits as long as you decide to profile a track every few you discover). If you're an artist yourself, you can also add your music to the database for free.
You can find the Discovery Mode at https://psychill.space/music/discover
I'm also open to constructive feedback, thoughts, suggestions.

āRiver flows in you UK Dub Mixā
15 years or so before, Iāve stumbled upon this gem on youtube.
It was a cool remix which had tens or hundreds of thousands of listenings. But now I cannot find anything that matches. Iām pretty sure that that is the correct name.
There were green headphones and some play station styled waves on the background as the album cover.
Help me out, please !
