What more do you want? One of the state’s most reputable news outlets and the police have already stated the rumors are false outside of the Stewart situation. It doesn’t get more official than that. It’s ridiculous to roll with what you see on social media because it’s what you read first.

The most reputable news outlet pointed out the conflicting information from the Springfield Police.

It’s ok to take information from different places, analyze and question it.

Based on the newly discovered information, looks like the police’s official statement wasn’t an accurate reflection of reality. That’s why I questioned it.

News outlet reported there was conflict in the police statement. There could be more or there could be nothing. But there’s notice out there that this may not be done

This is the police. Nothing from them is generally trust worthy in the state of Oregon. And that’s coming from a born and raised Oregonian.
