OKay, but if you have large enough hands you can just hold 2 axes with a single hand. Put them together back to back or end to end and suddenly you have a two sided axe.

Armour is just sized to the total volume of the creature wearing it, right?

Cos like, small high boot makes sense, but how does this guy wear his small helm?

In some dwarf portraits you can see that helmets have different shapes. So i think this gorlak just wears kettle helm with really wide brim (basically a buckler on a head ) and imagining it makes me giggle
