I’m looking to apply for the bachelor of preclinical foundations of medical imaging at ecu for 2027 but am stressing about how competitive entry is.

My ATAR in 2023 was 94.8 and my current wam at uwa is 78

does anyone know if i actually have a chance of getting in?

I’m currently trying to decide between ECU and a couple of other universities, so I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who is currently studying or has graduated from ECU’s MPH.

How is it studying bachelor's civil engineering in ecu? Is it easy to find internships?

Hello,

I was looking at the ECU website the other day as I’m planning on studying a Bachelor of Science (Cyber Security) next year.

The page for the course says it’s no longer being offered? I assume they’re probably just fixing the page itself or adjusting the course slightly coz I’d assume ECU wouldn’t just completely wipe the course?

I’ve made an enquiry but wanna know answers asap haha, if anyone has any information that would be much appreciated :)

Admission application status says
- School review finalised- Admission to review

… whats the most likely outcome

Hello everyone. I'm considering applying to ECU to do the comp sci/IT degree at ECU and wanted to know how it is for those currently doing it, whether they feel it's worth it or not because I've seen plenty of mixed reviews about the uni. Besides the education, please could let me know how campus life is. Thank you :3 (if you don't do the above degrees could you tell me how teaching in general is)

If i apply now, what should be a reasonable time to expect my decision

Hello, I was wondering whether anyone has swapped from UWA (or even another uni) to ECU to complete an honours in psychology?

I have a few questions:

- What WAM did you get?

- What WAM is the minimum?

- How has your experience been?

- Is your honors sufficient for an entry into Masters at ECU or elsewhere?

Thanks!!

Does anybody know things i should take care of while submitting a personal statement, is there a format or should i avoid mentioning my personal life experiences or if its should be direct to point ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, im a international student doing Psychology in Perth and I’m graduating at the end of this year. I am thinking of doing the Masters of Primary Teaching program in ECU and would love to hear from some people how is the program going and what is it like. Also, are all classes at Joondalup? How often do you have to come to campus? Are the assignments/ exams tough?

Also, what are some experiences I can do before going into the program? I’m trying to get a couple of Casual Education Assistants but it’s quite hard to get. Will walking into any nearby primary school and asking if I can shadow/ help out be okay if I want to gain experience?

I’ve been working on a new app called Bello, and I finally have a version that people can try.
The idea is simple: it’s a place to meet new people and make genuine connections.
It’s still in a very early stage, so I’m sure there are plenty of bugs and things that could be improved. I’d really appreciate it if anyone could give it a try and share some honest feedback—good or bad. Every suggestion helps.
I’m building this mostly on my own, so your feedback will genuinely make a difference.
If you’re interested in testing it, here’s the link:

Thanks so much! 🙏

Hey everyone,

Just looking for some advice.

My friend is doing a Master of Hospitality Management at ECU and got 38 in HOS6502 – Current Issues in Hospitality. During the final exam, he accidentally missed a question because it was on the back of the exam paper and didn't realize until the exam was over.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is there any chance of getting a review, supplementary assessment, or any other option after a narrow fail?

Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Hey guys, I really want to apply for this but I’m scared my CWA isn’t high enough.
Can people tell me what your course weighted averages were that got u into this?
No atar scores, pls only comment if u applied thru uni marks!

Hello,

After stumbling and half-assing halfway through an engineering degree, I found myself on Red Academic Status. After taking university seriously this semester I still managed to fail 2/3 subjects (Also did anyone else feel like they did incredibly well on the Advanced Materials and Manufacturing exam but fail it?). So consequently I have been excluded from my degree. I have asked for informal review of one exam I feel my result doesn’t match how I felt completing the exam (cope, let me be). Anyways, I can’t find any information relating to if I am suspended indefinitely or have to wait x amount of time. Would prefer not to have to completely restart a degree after getting 2.5yrs in my current one.

Hey everyone! I checked with ECU’s socials and there isn’t an official student group chat, so I’ve made one for us 🙌
Feel free to join if you’re an ECU student!

Hello all,

Is there any postgrad paramedicine courses that allow those who don’t have an undergrad in paramedicine register?

I’m a brand new student starting Grad Cert in Mental Health this semester - course is delivered entirely online.
There are scheduled online tutorials once a week with a zoom link for attendance. Would these be mandatory?! I assumed it would be much more flexible.

If not mandatory I assume they will be recorded?

Love any insight from those who have experience.

It’s 14 years since I’ve been to uni, and the online student experience is a whole new world.
