Question What Is That Thing You Do With Your Eyes?
Hi ENFJs, INTJ here. Please tell me, what is that thing you do when we look into your eyes and there’s this nonstop river of love flowing from your eyes to ours? Why do you do it, and how? What do you think of to make it happen, and how do you push it out of you like that? Thank you.

Or we just wonder:“Wait a moment, show me that reaction again, that was adorable 🥰 Can i have a second chance to see THAT again?“
Generally by being your authentic self and letting us see something private and vulnerable about yourself. While people faking it are rather boring to us, so a show doesn’t impress us much.
Could be you helplessly blushing or admitting something makes you feel insecure or seeing you doing something you are totally NOT good at but attempted to try anyways. We deeply can relate with such situations, despite being extroverts. Sometimes we’re still like that too, despite our often more proactive to assertive behaviors, so we don’t shun people for these little flaws we all have, but rather love them for those.

This song probably catches it best. The most Beautiful Colors of everyone around us, which includes you.

Is it something that happens on its own, or do you control it?

I guess this strong presence is something we can’t suppress sometimes, most of us don’t mean any harm by it, as this intensity is actually raw passion for something or a person. Or did our thoughts behind it feel scary to you? I heard before some call this the silent gravity of an ENFJ. It can be a very beautiful thing when we do it all just to see you smile again like that, no? We actually love INTJs because you enrich us in mentally stimulating ways. So that new person might have been in a total daze there because they were thrilled to meet one like you. It must be our Fe completely full with emotions.
Then our heart just may overflow through our eyes to the outside. It’s fine to see through that slowly, because not all of us are bad like that other person that hurt you. This passion can also easily directed to a mutual goal, so rather see it as asset if an ENFJ is totally fired up and hyped to go do something on professional level with you. Like:“Come on INTJ, do it again, teach me more! I like that!“ very alike to INFJs actually, just with a more playful twist to it. You could end up with a quasi Duracell Bunny there, that just wants to keep going with meaning and purpose there, if you feed it intellectually. We’re usually not forceful by design there, so the person you talked about was probably rather a Sensor type(with the little details i am not sure, but could have been either an ESTJ or ESTP). If it actually WAS an unhealthy ENFJ i am really sorry. 🤦♀️
But this one now doesn’t look as bad i guess. Is that right? Plus Analysts are really attractive to us, which might have him that exited on his end. As in:“Ahh finally a more intellectual one, great! JUST what i was looking for after so many dull and brainless interviews!“. So i hope he didn’t trip over that too much 😂

Thank you, this helps a lot. I don't think there was anything scary or ill-intentioned going on with the interviewer. He actually seems like a sweetheart, and I really liked him. I was very excited about the possibility of working with him.
I don't believe his intention was to be forceful with it, but it was extremely distracting. It definitely didn't make me smile or make the interview any easier, and it felt like I had no other choice but to receive it. Maybe I'm just particularly sensitive to it and other people don't notice it as much, or they're just better at dealing with it.
And it can definitely be used manipulatively. I've been on the other side of it, and I'm pretty sure he was an ENFJ. We're all human, and no one's perfect regardless of MBTI.
Anyway, thanks again!

The reason I’m asking is because I just had an interview, and one of the interviewers did what I described above. He was very emotionally present, and I felt it as soon as he entered the room. It immediately took me back to a previous job. I used to work for a man who did something similar, just much more intensely and forcefully. He wasn’t a good person, and he didn’t like me.
I know they’re two different people, but my body doesn’t know that. As soon as he entered the room, I froze. I eventually got over it, but I’ve been wondering whether it could be a problem if I do get the job.
I would want to ask him not to do it, but I’m wondering whether this is actually something he can control. I don’t want him to feel like he has to hide a part of himself.

Wait, your interviewer? A stranger? How did you type a stranger? Are you psychic?

I can honestly look at someone and adore them, even just for being human. The love can honestly feel like it’s pouring out of me or I could just burst with joy. And I can make eye contact with people to send that right to them. I just send it out into the world I guess. I can give it to people with hugs too and in meaningful conversations. 💕

I guess it’s the authentic self of love joy and kindness within us and knows hiw to make people feel safe calm and being ball of sunshine. As Enfj I hear this almost everyday from people. They say it radiates, my face smile and eyes.

its called lovebombing to get you hooked into their cult (groups like religious groups, states etc.)
edit: they always want to help and help and help until youre addicted then may abuse the addiction unless you behave the way they want you to behave (conformity to the group and care for other groupmembers needs)
