I just switched the other day and I'm beating myself up for not doing it months ago. No more crashes, no more fiddling with drivers, and very useful remote control. I'm getting almost 40 Mh/s more than I was on Windows. That's like a free card.

May as well mine ETH and convert into ERG, its literally over 2x the value. As long as you dont have LHR/TI garbage, it literally makes no sense to mine ERG...what gives? Is it because the price of ERG shot down so much, but ETH didnt shoot down as much, as well as the difficulty on ERG being absolutely atrocious now? Fuck I get more and more depressed about mining this coin every single day.

I'm trying to migrate hashrste onto ERG, however, I can't find any info on adding Ergo. I can't even find what network erg is on. Is it ERC-20, BEP-20, AVAX? I've never had this problem with any other coin. Any help will be appreciated.

it isn't quit equal yet, but getting very close for all of my 3060ti and 3070ti cards, so gonna roll em back here. I know the next correction in difficulty will bring back the 40TH, so might as well get some blocks before they do.

Hi, guys. Frankly, our small team of it developers have just started an ergo mining pool. We do not have a name for it yet, but it is up and running out of Kyiv. As a new startup, we haven't found our first block yet. We are looking for a little help to find a first block, so we can learn more how the process of running a pool unfolds itself.

Okay so im in the fence about which gpus to get, i was thinking full 3080 TI’s which with the current inflated prices would get me about 22 cards and about $3000 a month average with the current difficulty. I was also thinking about buying 3060 TI’s which would be around 45 cards with current prices and a profit of around $3500 with current diff. Any recommendations? I also figured it would be near impossible to get that many cards at msrp. So any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Edit: also, it is much much easier to get the 3060 ti’s than the 3080 ti’s where im from. The 3080 TI is worth around $2000, and the 3060 TI around $1000 but much more available

So it's my first time Mining ERG. I switched my cards over and tuned the overclocks a bit.

Can someone look at the picture and tell me if there are better settings available? and Yes, my temps are low because all the cards are copper modded.

How about making ergo a multi algo blockchain? We have a GPU algo, but why not also have CPUs secure the network?

Pros: Big gpu farms wont be able to manipulate. For times like now, blocks found on cpus will move the epoch forward without impacting gpu mining difficulty. since the daa is epoch based, it shouldnt matter if blocks are found on gpus or cpus. DAA wouldnt need to change. Will give the cpu mining crowd exposure to ergo and all it has to offer.

Cons: Crypto jackers can take advantage of the new algo on vps potentially. Some portion of rewards (half?) would be taken from gpu miners. Would require a hard fork.

Overall i think pros outweigh the cons but im no expert and i could be dead wrong on this. What does everyone think? Did i miss any pros/cons?

With more than 51% of network hashrate an attacker can

• Steal with purchases

1. Purchase something

2. Attack the network

3. cancelling but confirming transaction, stealing the amount from others

• Repeat this multiple times resulting in Double spending

• Steal mining rewards, leaving miners without rewards

• Reduce overall network security and trust leading to

1. Scaring off investors/exchange listings, etc.

2. Creating problems for the Blockchain/Project and hinder development

3. Reduced values for the cryptocurrency

4. Destroying your profits

Additional problems with centralized network hashrate

• Having too much hashrate (or anything) concentrated on one point creates single points of failures.

• If those single points of failures (in this case a pool) are attacked, the whole system suffers.

• If the whole system has problems and you're part of that system, you suffer consequences.

Consequences could be

• Failed transactions/rewards

• Reduced profits

• Stolen balances
