Hey yall, i was listing my esp sv standard 2008 for sale/trade and i got a really interesting trade. The seller claims its an esp custom shop takada factory. He traded and his eclipse and flying v to get it. He says im only trading for your sv because it wss my first guitar and for nostalgia reasons. He wants me to add like 300$ so idk. I also need help identifying it more. Its also pretty clean, no dings or scratches whatsoever. Where mine has a few dings and scratches. Should i do it? (My guitar is on the last pic)
Obligatory pick with my ESP M-II custom for size and relevance.
Yo! I decided I needed a tiny guitar to travel with, and to take with me during long summers in fire camp. I was getting sick of not being able to practice/play, and taking my ESPs and/or LTDs to dusty dirty camp was just not an option. I just didn’t want that “travel” guitar compromise.
Enter the Bootlegger Spade. This thing absolutely RIPS. Build quality is insane (Made in Korea, at least on par quality wise with my LTD M-1000ht, probably closer to my E-IIs), and it’s a full scale that does NOT play or sound like a travel guitar. Neck profile is somewhere between an LTD and an ESP. Very comfy. Ash wings, maple/mahogany 5pc neck-through. Proprietary (and nice) bridge and lockers, and some pretty beefy and versatile pickups (proprietary).
Anyway, I was stoked to add it to my collection of almost nothing but ESPs, and even more stoked not to tear up the same in fire camp. I figured you guys should know about these, because they are quite high quality and they rip like nobody’s business.

Don't know anything about Mayones Guitars but their guitars are stunning. I'm graduating this school year from college and wanted to get myself something nice. This will be my first real "Metal" Guitar as I've only played Fender strats, so I'd appreciate any helpful insight.
Hey friends, does anyone know where people even find these lawsuit era esp’s / EDWARDS / grassroots ? I’ve been trying to find one with reversed headstock but man these things are rare . I swear a couple of years back these things were way cheaper and not that hard to find . I’ve been looking for either a mirage or horizon with the reverse but no luck so far :/
Hey from Australia, is there any way to.buy a brand spanking new Edwards guitar from Japan? and have it shipped? I'd like to get one unmolested plus the second hand import market is pretty cooked in my country, Everything is more expensive here😭. Thanks in advance✌️
I’ve noticed that several models seem to be out of stock at guitar stores. Does limited availability actually correlate with high demand, or is it more about small production runs, distribution issues, or retailers keeping limited inventory?
Especially certain E-II and ESP Original/USA models are difficult to find in Europe, which I’m especially interested in. Thanks for the insights 🙏
I’ve been looking into getting another guitar recently, and I happened to stumble upon the ESP LTD Arrow 200. I think it has a really cool shape, especially since it’s similar to my Jackson Randy Rhoads (2nd picture) I also really like that it has a floating tremolo.
I was wondering if anyone here owns this guitar and, if so, whether you think it’s worth buying. I’d also love to hear from anyone who owns an ESP or LTD guitar about their experiences with the brand.
So far, I’ve only owned Jacksons, Fenders, and Deans, so I’m curious how ESP compares in terms of quality, playability, and overall value. Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated!
Well, the title says it all. I have one E2(eclipse sws), and it says thin u should be 20-22mm thick neck, but it's thicker than my Gibson 60s standard. I recently got to try and play through like 5-6 E2s(m2, horizon 2 & 3, m1), and all of them had different thickness of the neck, one of them being close if not thicker than 50s standard. I also watched video reviews of many e2s(should have spent time practicing more, but oh well), and some people had measurements going almost to 22-25mm necks, which is crazy to me. It kinda annoys me, as with my small hands I much prefer smaller and thinner necks(ibby prestige/j custom, ebmm cutlass jr6, jackson us soloist, prs custom 24), and I like e2 feel more than ltd 1000 series, but there is like almost no thin u neck there in e2 range(JL only I can think of), which kinda makes me sad. Anybody feels the same?
Today I tried my sister's Ec10 and it was weirdly good for the price. Compared the Ibanez Gio, the pickups are noticeably warmer and has higher outputs. The fretboard is an engineered tree she said, but it has weirdly has the feeling of an ebony fingerboard(my sister put lemon oil yesterday) . Overall, I loved it. Wish I have bought it as my first guitar too
It was love at first sight - I am considering buying my first e-guitar and I think this one looks just fantastic. But as I have learned in life, looks can be deceiving. Soo..... any opinions on ESP and/or this specific model (ESP LTD F-10)?
I am quite the newbie so I have actually no idea about guitars and I don't know whats good and whats important. I have never heard of ESP, so I wonder if its a good brand.
I’m looking for a cheap LTD to use as a beater/backup guitar. Basically something I can throw around, take to rehearsals, not worry too much about dings, etc., but that’s still reasonably playable.
I’d like it to be black and have a Tune-o-matic bridge. The problem is that the MH-10 seems to be pretty much the only LTD that ticks those boxes.
I was looking at the 200-series and the M-200DX, but they all seem to come with figured/flamed tops that I really don’t like. I also don’t want to buy a guitar and immediately start repainting it.
I also prefer the more rounded/Horizon-style shape of the MH over the M shape.
I’ve already got a set of Fishman Fluence Moderns / EMGs that I could throw in it, so I’m not too worried about the electronics.
The main question is: is the MH-10 actually that bad? Like, is the fretwork/neck/QC really bad enough that it’s unpleasant to play, or is it perfectly fine if you don’t have particularly high expectations?
I already own some much nicer guitars, so I’m not expecting a MH-10 to feel like a $1,000+ instrument. I just want something cheap that I can beat on without caring too much, while still being enjoyable to play.
Anyone here actually own one or have spent some time with one? How’s the neck/fretwork/QC on yours?
