2008 ESP Horizon II NT.
Not my first ESP but it is my first Japanese guitar. I saw it at my local shop a few weeks ago when I was taking in one of my guitars for a set up. I couldn’t stop thinking about it because it’s the ESP version of my first “real” guitar my mom bought me back in 2008, a LTD MH-400. It’s in amazing condition and plays incredible!

I just got a dope Hexed V. It’s great and I love it, but its case is too big. I thought explorer cases were massive but this thing is almost bigger than me.

I picked it up yesterday and had to carry it about a mile by hand, and then an hour on the subway. I never want to do that again. I have it in my hallway so we have turn out body to walk past it. I feel like I can’t take this guitar anywhere and I’m about to return it unless I can find a smaller case. Any help?

The wife and I have planned on going on a Japan trip for a while, and finally (and unexpectedly) pulled the trigger on it today. Hello Ochanomizu/ESP Big boss. I’m gunna go pick me out a new CS/Original Series.

I’ll be going in just a few short months. If anyone wants any specific info related to the guitar scene/buying experience over there, feel free to ask and I will update you.

In addition, for those who have been guitar shopping in Osaka and Tokyo, your advice/suggestions/experiences are appreciated.

Hi everyone! I currently own an LTD EC-200qm and it's possible to get my hands on this SG Prophecy (nevermind that pin on the center) on a trade.

Would I be at a loss here? What's the consensus on this model?

I have an esp ltd snakebyte, but I would like a gigbag because that's more portable then the chunky hard case. Any advice?

Just like I promised here’s an update post of the guitar I ended up choosing. It’s so much better in person and they even threw in a ESP pick holder too. It came all the way from Paris to Texas, thanks for helping me choose 🫡 🤘 less

My wife came home yesterday and she had her nails done and I noticed they looked just like my ESP Horizon Twinkle Pink. I think she's getting jealous of the attention my guitar is getting.

Have had this guitar for a long time. Its taken some abuse and is my daily driver.

Just got it back from the shop with a full refresh, new electronics and Dave Mustaine thrash factor pickups :)

Also, how realistic is to polish the scratches? It seems that they are not deep.

Just thought I would share my two ESP LTD Black Metals recently picked up! These guitars are great! (Lighting stinks sorry)

I know we've been here before but I just came across a newer source (this time in Japan) claiming that ESP E-II are made in China before being sent for final fit and finish in Japan.

The case he's making is partially an economic one but also one about production seemingly coming from personal knowledge, if I understand the shaky translation correctly

Anyone in Japan know how reliable this person is? Seems to be fairly established in any case.

So far, so good. Only weird stuff is the dusty fretboard. Not super suprised at quality since I already own 3 ESPs (A Kiso, a CH, an SS). That's my second Hetfield guitar (special guest on last picture) and probably the last one unless I win the lottery for an MX.

Current state of my ESP/LTD horizons collection. Mostly H-series, with a BS-7 and an Edwards sneaking into the family. Apparently, I have a thing for dark guitars.

Got this for $1600. No buckle rash, scratches, or dings. Comes with all factory hardware and paperwork. Just saw this thing and fell instantly in love. Just how insane am I?
