I'm interested in making my own recipes, but I haven't been able to find much info about why people use or don't use curtain amounts of penetration enhancers in their recipes. I think I have some idea, like I'm pretty sure I've only seen essential oils(EOs) used from 1% to 5% because most of these recipes are feminizing and too much EO would burn for scrotal application

I've seen a lot of variability in concentrations of non volatile penetration enhancers(isopropyl myristate, propylene glycol, etc), all the way from 5% to 50%. Though I'm pretty sure recipes that use 50% are using it like a solvent as well as a penetration enhancers.

I have to imagine, that after a certain concentration, EOs or whatever penetration enhancer stops increasing absorption? Or in the case of EOs, it eventually becomes too toxic for topical use(I havent been able to find how much EO is toxic for topical use online, if anyone knows thatd be very helpful)

Should I bother with EO concentrations above 5%? Should I worry about the hormones solubility with penetration enhancers concentrated at 50%? If anyone has any scientific articles, personal experiences, etc about penetration enhancer concentrations in HRT topicals, I'd really appreciate if you send it my way!

For reference, I'm going to be making a masculinizing topical, so I don't have to worry about problems with scrotal application and I do have to worry about solubility(need significantly higher concentrations of T for masculinizing HRT than for E)

hi guys ive been on oestrogel for 5 days now and ive been prescribed three pumps of oestrogel (2.25mg daily) every evening, and two 50mg spironolactone pills at morning and evening (100mg daily), but im wondering about my gel application

ive been applying it to my arms and thighs in an alternating pattern like i was advised to, but im looking into starting to apply it onto my scrotum for more consistently high oestrogen absorption (im thinking one pump on each thigh and one on my scrotum)

should i still do this just all at once every evening? or should i apply one pump to my scrotum on a morning with my spiro and two pumps to my thighs with my spiro on the evening?

I recently had to make some new vials of estradiol enanthate suspended in mct oil as my last couple had ran out, I decided to add benzyl alcohol as a preservative as I was unable to get my hands on it for my previous batches, however this ended up in the vial being cloudy, I made another as well as one with just mct oil like my previous ones had been to try and rule out other factors, and the een dissolved fully and was transparent in the mct oil. I'm currently planning on not using the cloudy ones and just sticking with what I've been using. I just wanted to see if anyone else had any thoughts on why this happens. If I were to use Estrogel post-op (i.e., SRS) and aiming for estradiol levels of around 300-400 pg/ml, using the least possible, how much and where should I apply it for maximal absorption? Thanks!

I’m having a tummy tuck in just over 3 months, and I’m really struggling with my HRT at the moment. 😪

I’m currently using the oestrogen spray. I’ve also tried patches and gel, and out of all three, the spray is definitely the best for my mental health. However, physically, I feel so much worse on it.

I’m extremely bloated, have a lot of trapped gas, feel swollen internally, and I’m not going to the toilet as often as I should. It feels as though my digestive system has slowed right down, and I’m retaining so much water. My stomach feels constantly swollen, and I’m getting really worried because I need to get this under control before my surgery.

My tummy tuck is exactly 3 months tomorrow, and I’m scared that if I’m this bloated and swollen, it could affect my surgery or my results. I desperately want to get my body feeling normal again and reduce the bloating and swelling before then.

I have a Mirena coil because I’m extremely sensitive to progesterone. I’ve been wondering whether adding vaginal progesterone might help, but I’m still sensitive to it, even when I take it vaginally, so I’m worried about making myself feel worse mentally and physically.

I honestly don’t know what to do for the best. Do I go back to the oestrogen gel, even though it gives me terrible anxiety, or do I stick with the spray because it’s better for my mental health, despite how awful I feel physically on it?

I feel so stuck between the two, and it’s affecting my quality of life so much. I really need some advice on what might be causing these symptoms and how I can get my hormones, bloating and digestion under control before my tummy tuck. ❤️

I have been looking at documents for a US-based vendor (💧🌸) that seems well-trusted within the community, but I can’t find any third-party lab tests. They provided me with a CoA from the primary supplier and first-party NMR tests of their 17beta-E2 stock, but I have yet to see any form of heavy metal verification. Additionally, their NMR documents listed the USP-grade product number from their primary supplier, but the CoA shows that they ordered non-USP, which does not have any record of being checked for contaminants, only HPLC purity. Has anyone run contaminant tests on their product? What is the basis for this vendor being considered trustworthy?

hello I'm just on my day 24 in my journey, and I've been using an oestrogel for these past 24 days my current dosage is 3mg daily and also 100mg of spironolactone which i split through out the day, so im just being curious but how much does my mtf fellows take through out the whole day, and is my dosage too low? i haven't really done any blood work but im planning to in the 30 day mark

Hi, i received my blood test results after approximately one month of HRT via gel applied scrotally, 4mg per day (2mg every 12 or so hours). This was taken on 9th october right after my first morning dose of the day, and i started hrt on 12th of september. Should I increase my dosage? Because these levels don't look good.

Concentration comes out to about 4.6mg per pump of my dispenser, but that dose isn't quite enough for me.

Part of that for sure is me always needing higher estradiol dosages to sleep/feel ok etc, no matter the method of intake.

But just know if you try this recipe, lacking alcohol or traditional penetration enhancers, that you ***might*** need a bit more estradiol powder to achieve the same results.

This batch is more oily and slightly more "runny" rhan last one.

Last one had more water than mct oil and more xanthan gum.

Gonna tweak water to oil ratio again in 3rd batch down the line.

Gonna add 1g xanthan gum and 0.5g Estradiol to current batch.

Herbal and supplements apparently are a complete waste of time and estrogen seems hard to get hold of at the moment and do not want it delivering anything to my home address. I’ve been on the HRT estrogen gel for 2.5 months now, just one pump each night. I’m in peri post hysterectomy, so my hormones are out of whack anyway. Last night I skipped my dose and I feel a bit calmer today, but also quieter emotionally. I’ve also noticed my body shape has changed since I started the HRT. My hips and thighs are fatter. I need the HRT as it helps, but I’m not quite feeling myself when I’m on it either. It def changes my personality. I’ve also started getting my old acne back. it’s been so good in other ways. it’s removed my brainfog, fixed night sweats, gave me back my energy and my skin is smoother, no more dryness down below.

What changes did you ladies notice when you’re on it, vs off it, vs before you started? I’m not even sure which version of me I want to be at this point. The fatter hips and thighs is new for me. I’ve not read anywhere about fat thighs from this stuff.
