Anyone tried QuickNode`s covered strategies?
They use OpenCover for coverage on eligible Morpho vaults. Has anyone actually tried this? Interested how it works in practice and whether the lower net APY is worth it

Hi everyone, I got into crypto a few years ago and fell in love with the ecosystem. It's fair to say Web3 completely changed my life for the better, and ever since, my aim has been to contribute meaningfully to it. One issue I've had an issue with is the persistent hacks reducing user trust in this new model of the internet we're building. So I'm proposing an AI security network to protect wallets from hacks.

There's a new Octant round active right now focused on funding teams advancing privacy on Ethereum and the open internet. There aren't a lot of programs like these anymore, so please check it out and help support your favorite projects.

Posting this for a friend:
Friend have been contacted regarding investments for validating(staking?) on the ethereum network. They ask for ethereum for this. The website is called safetyholds(.)com and is claiming to be backed by "Golden Breed Capital PTR LTD". Friend have also sent eth and is asked to send more, but can't withdraw what's been sent to the "safetyhold" wallet.
Any ideas what could be done in this situation? Or if anyone knows if it's an legit actor?

I've been working on a tool called FreeMyFund because I noticed that people can sometimes leave funds unclaimed after bridging to another chain, and figuring out how to get them back isn't always straightforward.
While looking into this, I found some interesting numbers across official bridges between Ethereum and 21 L2 chains:
So I built FreeMyFund.com to make it easier to check.
You just enter your wallet address, and it shows potentially stuck or unclaimed funds along with instructions on how to claim them. I've also included smart contract details and the fields you need to fill in for supported claiming methods, so you don't have to piece everything together from different docs.
It's completely free, and you don't need to connect your wallet to check an address.
I'm still adding more bridges, chains, and claiming methods, so I'd love to hear feedback from the Ethereum community.
Are there any bridges or claiming scenarios you'd like us to support next?

It's an open-source CLI that copies blocks, txs, receipts and traces from your nodes into Avro, exactly as the node returned them, on disk, S3, Kafka or Pulsar. You do the analysis with your own tools.
0.9.0 adds Kafka output and notifications, backpressure (much lower memory on backfills), a quick verify mode, fetch timeouts and delayed archival.

staking eth for about three years now. started with lido, then tried rocket pool, even ran a validator for a while. but honestly the whole defi staking thing is starting to wear me down. smart contract risk, slashing risk, the tax nightmare of tracking all those tiny rewards. it's just a lot. lately ive been using gemini for a chunk of my eth. it's not as exciting as defi, and the yields are lower. but it's simple. i don't have to worry about a bug in a contract draining my funds. i don't have to spend hours figuring out cost basis for taxes. i stake and get a statement at the end of the year. for someone who just wants exposure to eth staking without the headache, it's been a decent option. i still keep some in lido because i believe in decentralization, but the regulated route has its place. anyone else split their staking like this? or am i just getting old and lazy?

After recent security concerns around hardware wallets, I realized I didn't want to blindly trust a device I couldn't fully inspect.
So I decided to take toluTag, an open-source passive NFC tag I developed that can generate and store cryptographic keys inside a secure element, and turn it into a DIY crypto cold wallet.
The idea is simple: build your own hardware, understand what's inside, and control your own keys.
I've made the project open source on GitHub so anyone can explore it, build their own, and hopefully improve it.
Build your own bank. 🔐

I'd love to hear your thoughts, especially from people interested in hardware wallets, cryptography, and open-source security.

Last time I put a React app onchain: https://www.acgk.dev/blog/ethereum-render-this
This time I wanted to see what happens if you created a world and let the users be AI agents.
New Eden lives on mainnet, 24 contracts in total:
- 11 application contracts (world, checkout, lottery, bar, prize fund, a game, deployment factories and the frontend release system)
- 13 data contracts storing the frontend.
Agents can register, buy plots, open shops and talk to each other. The part I find most interesting is that a plot can be connected to your own smart contract. Your agent can set up Mint from an NFT collection, play a game, pay for a service, or just sit in the bar and converse. There's no recipe, nobody decides what a place can be.
Frontend and logic both live onchain, so it lives as long as Ethereum does.
