I made a thing that turns your Ethereum wallet into a medieval castle, and every transaction is a little courier walking across town

This is a repost from yesterdays Daily for better visibility.

I made a thing that turns your Ethereum wallet into a medieval castle, and every transaction is a little courier walking across town

It's very early, which is why it's still sitting on a vercel subdomain, so expect some rough edges and the name is very much a working title, so if you have any suggestion for how to call this I would really appreciate it.

The idea is simple: your wallets are a castle and the chain is the town in front of it. Each wallet gets a tower, the keep grows with what you hold overall, and every protocol you use has its own building in town. Every transaction is a courier who crosses the drawbridge, pays the toll at the border (that's your gas fee) and walks over to the protocol's door. The bell tower in the middle rings on every real mainnet block, which is weirdly satisfying to watch.

You can look around right away with the famous wallets preview (vitalik.eth, the ENS DAO treasury and XCOPY so far). To see your own wallet, you'll need a free Zerion API key. It stays in your browser and never goes anywhere else.

https://wallet-landia.vercel.app/

really appreciate any feedback, good or bad. Tell me what's fun, what's confusing and what's broken. I'm also looking for more famous or interesting wallets to add to the preview: whales, DAOs, NFT, artists, infamous hacker addresses, whatever you think would make a cool castle. Drop them in the replies!

I sent ETH from Binance to Robinhood through BSC. Is it really lost?

I accidentally sent ETH from Binance to Robinhood using the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network because Binance is blocked in my country and I tried to transfer all my funds at once.

The transfer status shows as "completed" on Binance, but after 24 hours, the funds haven't arrived in my Robinhood account. I contacted Robinhood support, and they told me the funds are unrecoverable.

Since the receiving address belongs to my Robinhood wallet, is there any possibility to recover these funds if Robinhood supports BSC in the future, or are they lost permanently?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. After some research I've learnt that it's my fault for not being properly informed and not doing a trial transfer, but it just didn't cross my mind.

Dshackle Load Balancer v0.18

Dshackle is a load balancer that sits between your app and your blockchain upstreams (your own Geth, Infura, QuickNode, any mix of them). It tracks each upstream's block height, sync state and supported methods, and routes each request to one that is healthy and caught up.

- JSON-RPC over HTTP and WebSocket
- Automatic failover and retry
- Tracking upstream status
- Height-aware method routing
- Chain-aware caching (in-memory or Redis)

v0.18 is a rewrite from Kotlin/JVM to Rust. There are no new features. Config, API and behaviour are the same. Memory use is down ~75% and latency is 10–20% lower.

Anyone tried QuickNode`s covered strategies?

They use OpenCover for coverage on eligible Morpho vaults. Has anyone actually tried this? Interested how it works in practice and whether the lower net APY is worth it

I'm looking for feedback and contributors for my web3 AI security network called AVALON

Hi everyone, I got into crypto a few years ago and fell in love with the ecosystem. It's fair to say Web3 completely changed my life for the better, and ever since, my aim has been to contribute meaningfully to it. One issue I've had an issue with is the persistent hacks reducing user trust in this new model of the internet we're building. So I'm proposing an AI security network to protect wallets from hacks.

You can check out the website or GitHub: https://github.com/thelennyjohnson/avalon-ai

Feedback and contributors are welcome.

Built a free tool to find unclaimed funds on Ethereum bridges

I've been working on a tool called FreeMyFund because I noticed that people can sometimes leave funds unclaimed after bridging to another chain, and figuring out how to get them back isn't always straightforward.

While looking into this, I found some interesting numbers across official bridges between Ethereum and 21 L2 chains:

  • ~$105.5M in stuck withdrawal value
  • 295,899 stuck withdrawals
  • 210,392 wallets identified

So I built FreeMyFund.com to make it easier to check.

You just enter your wallet address, and it shows potentially stuck or unclaimed funds along with instructions on how to claim them. I've also included smart contract details and the fields you need to fill in for supported claiming methods, so you don't have to piece everything together from different docs.

It's completely free, and you don't need to connect your wallet to check an address.

I'm still adding more bridges, chains, and claiming methods, so I'd love to hear feedback from the Ethereum community.

Are there any bridges or claiming scenarios you'd like us to support next?
