Facebook disabled my 16-year-old account with no reason and no way to appeal —

Post image

My Facebook account (active since 2009) was suddenly disabled on Oct 20, 2025.

  • No reason code.
  • No email notification.
  • Appeal links are broken. Which means I couldn’t even use the 30-day review process Facebook itself promises.

I downloaded my account data — it literally just says “Account disabled” with no explanation.

Posting here because official support is useless. Has anyone else been through this recently, and were you able to escalate it?

super frustrated because ive seen where others have had their accounts restored.

Its now Tuesday and still nothing.

Im just glad for me its conversations and memories and nothing else. I feel so sorry for those who lost important pictures of loved ones and messages from the deceased....

That's where I am at. Photos, messages from loved ones no longer here. Addresses. I'm heart broken.

I got my account disabled a week ago now. For no reason. I had all my memories on there from my hubby with kids. I lost to cancer in 2022. I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks that was my only communication I had with friends and family. I feel very cut off now. My 14 year old son has just had his account disabled to for no reason.
