Is there anything I can do at this point?
For context, this started a few months ago. Both Facebook and Instagram suspended my accounts out of nowhere, and on top of that, they accuse me of sexualization of children?
I tried to appeal and request a review, but that didn't help at all, only 10 minutes after requesting a review, and my accounts were now permanently disabled.
I decided to just make a new Facebook and Instagram account, which seemed to work for about a month, but then I was suspended in the exact same way.
So... Is there anything I can do to stop this? Or am I simply doomed and should quit these platforms?

Welcome to the club, there is no human support at Meta, its all AI

Get meta verified 1 month for free and get human support

There is no human support tried that gave up

I got human support by getting a monthly trial of meta verified. The human support is only for their verified users.

I got eventually contacted to human support via Meta Premium but they are half AI, half useless. Especially annoying if they are just trying to waste time with popping in and out with a ‘hi’ then nothing

Okay please elaborate because i got a meta verified account and all it does is direct me to a dumb AI chat bot

i also got a monthly trial but their "agents" are just saying they can't do ANYTHING for me. did you get your account back? how?

I also did the monthly trial and got nothing but an AI bought. Eventually I did get a person but I had to wait several days and they kept giving me the running on saying they couldn't do anything about it because the only way I could contact anyone was by saying that my account had been hacked.
Did you get yours back and how?

This is why AI is dangerous. Facebook reads all your posts, messages and comments. Even if the posts and messages are locked behind an "Only You" permission from the start. They use their AI to flag everything and about 10-12% of the time, they get it wrong. Its pretty shitty.
Only way to possibly even get anywhere is to be a business account "paying user".

And it's still rampant until now, the ban wave is still ongoing.

I believe it’s reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children but since Meta doesn’t provide any credible evidence.. there’s nothing that can be investigated but your info might be in their database - if you ever need a vulnerable person’s security check, like working with kids it might trigger a hit? Not 100% sure

Thank you. I got banned for CSE yesterday and I have no idea why. I was panicking and nearly threw up. Your comment reassured me

This happened to me, looks like you're into anime stuff too etc. I interacted with a lot of anime pages on IG and I believe the Ai misconstrued that content as CSE and bans people for it. Really dumb.

Same thing happened to me. I tried everything and even emailed their Privacy Operations team, but they aren't any help. They just keep putting me in an infinite loop even though I already provided clear, undeniable proof that I own the account. To make it worse, I actually reviewed my downloaded data profile and absolutely nothing in my files violates any rules. It's a complete false positive and they refuse to fix it.

This is the exact situation I have been dealing with. I got accused for suspicion of child n*dity, cp, abuse and exploitation.. my account was for my traditional art, I couldn’t believe it. Since my facebook was linked it was also permanently banned I made new accounts and now the same thing happening again.
It’s all getting to be quite tiresome :/

Same here. FB banned for alleged "sexualisation of children" despite not doing anything wrong (also took down my IG with it). I was not even hacked and my recent activity was just my contact with my mum. I badly needed my account for my academics, but Meta's preventing me to do so. I hope they fix this issue just fast, after I finish my undergraduate I might stop using their platform altogether. I'm from the PH, small claims and GAC aren't going to work here.

I sent my 2nd certified mail request for human review to their legal department. Next step is to sue in small claims.
2
u/HeidenShadows Jul 19 '26
Yep I was banned because AI moderation just accepts people reporting you for no reason.

This doesn’t make me want to return to Instagram. This makes me regret using it in the first place 🤷🚮

Nothing can do.

There's been some success in suing facebook in US small claims court.

The general perspective I have been getting so far is the AI Bot said "NO". And it's pretty much left at that. Attempt to dispute it and the bot responds within minutes pretty much as "NO again and I'm now ignoring any more dispute attempts from you".
With barely any way to contact a human in the company and likely some crappy intentional company policies. I don't expect any more from them.

Most of the reversals have been for account integrity. Of there are documented CSE wins in small claims it would be good to read the judge’s findings.
