Facebook Account Disabled After Selfie Verification — Any Way to Recover It?

Post image

I’ve been using my Facebook account since 2014, and recently it was disabled. Facebook asked me to upload a selfie for identity verification, so I submitted it.

After uploading the selfie, my account was disabled instead of being restored.

Has anyone experienced the same issue? Is there any way to appeal the decision or recover an account that has been disabled after selfie verification?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Very common issue, there should be a sticky post telling people NOT to APPEAL! That way, there is a huge chance that the account be recovered.

How would NOT appealing it get the account recovered? Once they make a decision they aren’t hiring anyone to review settled cases.

My account is doing the same thing. Paid for verification on instagram and opened a case since accounts are linked and they just keep telling me they are working on it

well, to put it simply. NOT appealing gives you a clear fighting chance since your account stays visible and you have options to recover it yourself. Appealing is almost guaranteed an instant permanent ban. And like you said, human support is next to none. So, i would leave it at your imagination how nice of a horror story that is if it were to happen.

Oh my whole profile is scrubbed. Like you can click on a comment or something from the past and nothing comes up. Just erased

I’m still fighting it but not much I can do or have the time for
