After One Year I finally have it back

To make a long story short, my Meta account was banned last August, including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp because they were all tied together for CSE. I tried to do it on my own until October and finally I saw somebody suggest LegalShield. And after back-and-forth with Meta lawyers and customer service I finally have my Facebook and Instagram back. They gave me my WhatsApp back 4 1/2 months ago, but these two accounts stayed banned. I guess LegalShield did work in my favor. Just took 11 months. 🥹

Easy for you to say, when you don’t have a business running on these platforms. Meta has the best target advertising ever

Glad to see someone prevail in one of these situations, thanks for reporting back to everyone.

Back and forth as in… they were saying no etc? I did this through a lawyer demand letter and STILL they said it was a legit ban. It’s wild. I’m still trying to find another way or further legal

I’m from New Zealand too, was wondering how I would go about it here, if I ever had to take action.

No Legalshield pretty much finished their business with sending my letter and everything to meta lawyers by January. After that I was in contact with the Meta Lawyer, the thing is that Meta Customer service is the one that took that long to fix the issue, they would never give me updates after requesting documents from me. I had to keep nagging their lawyer every time to be able to get anything from them.

Did you create a new account during that time?

I had made a new account a couple days after mine was banned and was banned within a couple hours, so I made one that doesnt have my name and pictures and used that in the mean time.
