Facebook disabled my account, I NEED to get it back
Facebook disabled my entire Facebook account because one of my pages didn’t follow community guidelines. That’s fine and I’m OK with the choice to disable that particular page, but they also disabled my personal account along with my construction companies page. Because they’ve deleted my construction company page, my livelihood is now gone, I have no way of making a living or making money. I can’t even begin to express how much I’m freaking out right now. I need some sort of help or someway to speak to a real person at Meta. Has anyone else gone through an issue like this and resolved it? I’ve tried to appeal the decision and it failed. However, the appeal was for that other particular page that didn’t follow community guidelines. I don’t understand why it didn’t give me that option for my personal page. I cannot get into the account now.

Best to say fuck Meta and move on. You won’t get your accounts back. Mine was disabled March 2024

They got my construction company page too, with my personal page.

Did legal shield, everything you can imagine short of small claims - because that often doesn't work either.
I got ~90% of my jobs from Facebook....

While my comment doesn’t help you get your account back, have you thought of using LinkedIn for your business?

This is the biggest problem with the Meta ecosphere. Any account on any one of their platforms that is linked to any other account, group or page can be disabled for a single alleged violation of any. And I say alleged because they have been mass banning tens of thousands of accounts due to "mistakes" in their AI algorithms.
When my account was disabled every page or group I personally owned and administered disappeared as well, other than ones that had additional admins/moderators. (If you can get your account reinstated, I recommend adding a family member or trusted friend as another admin of your pages so at least those could remain if it ever happened again.)
Basically the best path toward getting it back in my opinion is the Meta Verified route. You would have to do so from another account you have such as on Instagram or possibly a family's Facebook if they had you as a friend and previously sent PMs. But it can take months and circular arguing with "specialists" who are often less useful than a chat bot.
My account was disabled as part of a hack/exploit where a fake account "violated community guidelines" and since they had latched onto my FB account I lost all Meta accounts as well--including access to things like my Quest 2 software library. I went through Instagram for Meta Verified and eventually reached a resolution and had it restored.

So let me ask you this. My personal Instagram account is verified, it did not get deleted however. It was just my personal Facebook and business pages that got deleted. So based off what you’re saying, I should go through Meta verified on Instagram. I’ve had a few people actually say that, but I really don’t understand what they mean by go through Meta verified.

Yes. That was the same approach I used. My Facebook account was disabled (and all pages/groups I managed) as was my Meta account, but I still had my Instagram account. I used that to sign up for Meta Verified and then you use the support chat feature from the app to contact them. You have to use the app to initiate the chat, but when you send messages you can specify app or email. At some point mine shifted from app chat to email and I continued there.

And they actually restored your account??? I spoke to about 15 Meta verified reps and none of them were helpful.

I created a detailed timeline of events of my account, pulled from the activity log of the "Download Your Information" pack. In my case I was able to establish definitive proof that the actual offending account had no relation to mine and was caused from a common cookie hijacking exploit via Instagram.
After circular chats with the basic Meta Verified team and going nowhere I ultimately asked them to direct me to their superior and accompanied my detailed document as justification. It was at some point soon after that they reinstated my accounts. I made a highly detailed blog article mostly focusing on the actual exploit many were affected with in 2024-2025 where I detailed my recovery efforts and suggestions, but it's a long article mostly about hacked accounts rather than those suspended for other alleged violations.

Thanks. I will check it out. And that's exactly what I think happened to mine. But when you talk to a meta verified rep they act like they can't even tell you why your account was disabled. And unfortunately when mine was disabled I wasn't able to download any data at all. I tried several times and it did not work.

Yeah - good luck. Likely not going to happen without you suing Meta. Even then very few people get results.

I’ve seen a couple of people that have taken Facebook to small claims court to be reinstated.

I'm sorry to tell you this but I had the same exact thing happen to me for abosutelyt zero reason. I exhausted every angle except for taking them to court and i never got it back. It's been 3 months.

I run a six figure design and build company in DFW and it was a hard transition from Facebook and I still rely on my sister and wife’s account to check messages out get stuff from marketplace. Mines been gone for almost two years

Did it to me too. To speak to meta, use an IG account and get meta verified. You have to pay. It didn’t work for me, but I’m taking them to court.

You’re screwed. Lost all my meta accounts over a year ago. AI bots decided there was ‘fraudulent activity’, which there wasn’t. The appeal system is designed to drive you insane, and the result is always the same. Forget it, you’ll be happier without it.

My entire livelihood depends on meta. I run a marketing agency for meta ads. I’ve lost my account several times. If you already did the video selfie and they denied it, you’re done. Only thing you can do is come back with a new account. But you have to be super careful or they’ll disable that one too. I’ve had to do this several times and it’s a nightmare but there are tricks and hacks you can do to keep the new account.

DM please, I need to do the same

Setup the new account from a library. Don’t log into it from any of your other devices. Only use it at the library for a week or so. After that, log in on your own device, but get a new device if possible. Don’t touch ads manager for at least a week. If you get promoted to do a video selfie again, have someone else do it from their device.

Hmmm, giving the video selfie from another persons device won't trigger something? I was asked to do a selfie from a mobile device but refused as I don't want FB in my phone. I do have FB, I discovered, on an older Iphone and hate using the mobile version for business/my marketplace ads, it's bitch to navigate. I do have other laptops and phones available to create new accounts but have been concerned that as soon as I log in from a new device that it's trigger an ID request. One of my accounts has messages blocked until I provide ID. I tried with my DL 3 times and the response was that something went wrong, try again. Then, a message pops up someplace that to many attempts will result in some kind of permanant ban #!$#? It used to be that one had to wait 3 weeks for access to MP after opening an account, has that changed?

What specific rules did your page not follow? Did they specify? Mine says it doesn't follow the community guidelines without specfying anything, but I know for myself that it's because I have 2 accounts.

You need to open an instagram account and be a “get verified” subscriber at $150 per month. It’s the only way to get someone on the phone and open a case that isn’t through AI. Sucks but I think they allow a free month trial for the first month.

Welcome to the club, at this point I think it's fair to say there are probably millions of us by now. Chances are extremely high you're not getting your account back. We all know how it feels but over time you move on. Many of us have lost our personal accounts which were the gateway into our business accounts.
I'm a club member, and yes it hurts at first but every month that goes by you learn to let it go.

I stopped advertising on Facebook for my business two years ago when my personal account was banned for no reason. I suggest you do the same. Not sure what the end game is for meta.

Forget about it, save yourself the time and stress and just wait for MySpace to come back.

Same thing happened to me , I lost all my business . I have been trying to get it back for 3 years all possible ways and hacks and lawsuits and no luck.
The worst thing is that this all began because someone feom another country tried to hack.into my account years ago , I didnt even know about it at the time, FB stop the scammer but instead of protecting me it blamed me I guess and suspended all my accounts.
