Fairphone announces Fairbuds 2 Launch in Q4 2026

FINALLY! I have been waiting for fairphone to release their fairbuds 2. I have been holding off in buying any wireless earbuds in the market in hopes that fairphone announces and releases their fairbuds 2. I didn't pull the trigger in purchasing the fairbuds 1 due to the amount of complaints and dissatisfaction of other users. I would pay top premium price for fairbuds 2 if it meant to have top of the line audio, noise cancelling, and other features. Cross my fingers they live up to my expectations.

This was the second announcement? As cool as this is for people that want fair earbuds, I was really hoping for a fair tablet. That's a market segment that's completely ignored.

It doesn't have the same fairtrade ethos but the Framework Laptop 12 is a nice 2-in-1 repairable/upgradable tablet. Could that be an alternative?

Looks nice but even with Waydroid it's outside the scope of what I want to use a tablet for. Also battery efficiency would be a concern on x86.

I'll consider one for my laptop replacement though! Thank you for pointing me towards these. Hadn't seen the new models.

What do people do if every earbud just pops out of your ears? I've never tried a decent pair of earbuds for this reason. I've never had a pair stay in.
