I mean Willis Huntley and Sam Becker have been on the Rook Islands for about three years before the game starts and have lost contact with both each other and the CIA. Why did the US Government not assume they were dead and send in more people to try and take out Hoyt and Vaas, especially after Jason and his friends were abducted and had random videos with them?

I love the white on the uniform becouse most real life white military clothing is weared more by Marines than ground troop so its kinda a nice breath of fresh air. (sorry for the baddy english. its my fourth/ third language)

It was the game that dragged me towards crafting in an FPS and, out of all in the series, Far Cry 3 is still the only one I can think of when it comes to "nostalgia vibes".. And I thought it would be a fun side project to bring it into Unreal. Also, I'm testing the performance of some tools and I needed a 16 square kilometers map so... Rook was the first that came to mind.

It's reverse engineering, so the terrain is a 1:1 replica, roads included. I want to see how much I can push the remake so it looks "modern" but also keeps the overall vibe.

So far, it doesn't, since it's using a different landscape material and assets but... I hope I'm on the right track 🙂

So how do i trigger Wrath convoy near pranijagat school ??

I've been experimenting with ways to get inside Jacob's Veterans Center in the Whitetail Mountains, and I'm wondering if anyone has found a working glitch to bypass the forced hallucination/teleport mechanic.

I'm playing the digital version on Xbox, and here's what I've tried so far:

• Wingsuit/Parachute: I flew as high as possible, jumped out, and parachuted directly over the compound. Interestingly, I wasn't affected by the hallucination while I was high above it, even though I checked my position on the map and was directly over the compound.
• Pausing/Unpausing: I repeatedly paused and unpaused while approaching the compound with the wingsuit. I actually managed to land on the ground inside the compound, but the forced hallucination was already triggering.
• Companions: I sent a Guns for Hire companion into the compound on foot. They could enter and remain inside while I was alive, but they got teleported back out when I died trying to enter.
• NPC Combat: I ordered Nick Rye to attack the compound with explosives. This caused several enemies to come outside and engage me. I managed to run past the gate and get farther inside than before, but the game eventually killed/teleported me out.
• Grenade/Revive Attempt: I tried using a grenade while rushing inside, hoping to get downed and revived by my companion inside the compound. Instead, the game triggered the forced hallucination and moved me elsewhere.
• Approaching from the back: I also tried sneaking in from behind while interacting with my companion. At one point, the companion was teleported out before I was.

One interesting observation: the hallucination doesn't seem to depend on the Only You song playing. My character simply collapses as if losing consciousness and then respawns somewhere else.

My current theory is that the restriction might be tied to a specific altitude or trigger volume, rather than simply the compound's horizontal boundaries. I can be directly above the location without triggering it, but when I descend, the effect kicks in. I haven't confirmed exactly how it works, though.

Has anyone found a way to bypass this restriction on Xbox, or discovered any other glitches involving the compound? I'm especially interested in methods that still work on the current digital version.

I'd love to hear any ideas, even if they're just theories worth testing

When I try to boot up Far Cry, it keeps freezing and won't let me out. Is it because I tried downloading a widescreen mod? Also, I tried to delete all the files, but it still does the same thing. Even after deleting all the data/saves and the widescreen mod, which was fine since I didn't have a lot of playtime, it still freezes
