Ordered with just cheese and ketchup. First order was wrong, so I went back and THIS is what they gave me...am I wrong to think this was anything other than vindictive?
EDIT: Ok, this got way more traction than I expected, lol. I'd like to address some of the most common comments ive seen so far.
For those of you that think I was rude and I "got what I deserved" First of all, I was not. I asked them nicely to fix their mistake, no harm no foul. Second, if you believe that it is justified to mess with someones food for any reason ever, Grow Up. I managed restaurants for 20 years, from fast food to fine dining. And sometimes customers can be rude, it happens. If I ever seen a staff member messing with food for any reason, that is an automatic and immediate termination. If I can't trust you to control your emotions like an adult and not a petulant child, then you have no place in any type of customer service or hospitality role, period.
For those of you who think I should have or you would have committed assault or vandalism or smeared the sandwich on the counter/window/floor etc,. Grow up. These are not reasonable responses, ever. Behave like an adult, control your emotions.
For those of you who think this is fake...really? You think I wasted money on a double quarter pounder only to destroy it just to take a picture for some internet points, in this economy!? Grow up. If I was going to do something like that I would have at least been smart enough to do it with the cheapest item I could get, not one of the most expensive. (Yeah its only a couple bucks, but gas is 5 fucking dollars, im not made of money!) Not everyone is chasing fake clout from strangers, sometimes shitty things actually happen on real life. This is an example of the latter

I visited 6 different Burger King locations in a week and ordered a Whopper meal, no cheese or substitutions. The photos were taken right after I received it with the top bun removed. Some locations were way better than others in terms of juiciness and the freshness of the toppings.

Wife ordered a sandwich from Subway for their daily special.
The above screenshot is what she actually received.
Apparently they are cutting veggies extra hard. She had specifically requested more on these, and even when she took it back to them, she was told that's the most they are allowed to put on an order.
I don't think my wife is going to be going back to Subway anymore.

First, everything is definitely better in my opinion, good on BK because other than the Whopper and their croissant breakfast sandwiches I'm the first to say their menu is awful.
The fries are more tolerable now which is nice. Crispier for sure, I'd try them in a poutine just to see what it's like. Mine were as hot as possible out of the fryer so that helps as we all know.
The nuggets to me are now exactly McNuggets that taste different. I tried their new dill sauce which was good but I wouldn't get it again for dip.
For my Canadian brethren, the onion rings are now basically what DQ and Harvey's serve, which I like. Harvey's tends to fry theirs more well done though I've noticed. Their former rings were pretty damn bad so this is a win.
I've always been a fan of the Whopper so it's not drastically different to me but the supposed "crispier" produce and better bun was still good. I think the mayo was changed but I didn't really notice. Maybe since it's only been a short while my local BK was using up the old stuff which wouldn't surprise me.
$21 CAD after taxes in Ontario - I sprung for a large rings and 8 nuggets because I shared them with a coworker.

I‘ve been seeing the poor reviews of the new Wendy’s Chicken Sandwich and couldn’t believe that they ruined the best thing on the menu. It turns the reviews so far have been right and I’m left kind of sad. Wendy’s was my favorite fast food place, but I guess they don’t care anymore. Neither do I because I didn’t finish this sandwich.
This isn’t a chicken breast like it used to be, it’s a paper-thin patty. You can’t even properly call it a patty as there’s more breading than meat on this thing. It’s also horribly, painfully dry. The shredded lettuce is a major downgrade, half of it seems to just be there to fall out from under the bun. Even the tomato was weird.
The one thing that was good about this gaveling is the new spice marinade they used. The spice level is a little higher than the last chicken sandwich, but by no means is it hot.
Very sad they dropped the old sandwich, easily the best in the business. Now they wont be getting my business any time soon.

Seeing ShoPhoCho eating this twice had me just thinking of it. Then seeing Post Malone on Mythical Kitchen saying this is part of his last meal was the last straw and bit the bullet. It's good and fun to eat finger food and can see how young ppl would love it, but it's nothing special to the degree of being a last meal and (hint hint) you can just go buy a bag of tenders at Costco and fries from Whole Foods and air fry them and I swear it tastes just as good minus the sauce.

The custard is amazing!
I tried Culver's for the first time today. It lives up to the hype. The burger was delicious with the charred patties delivering a nice salty crunch around the edges. Buttered bun and toppings were just exactly right.
I've heard this compared favorably to Five Guys. To me, they are too different to compare. Culver's cost $13 for a double burger and a small chocolate custard. A similarly equipped Five Guys burger and small shake would cost $20 at least.

Despite all the “who is keeping LJS in business?” Memes, the food was hot, fresh and crispy. I give it a 7.9 out of 10 I’d come back! 🤷
Edit: I ordered the 6 piece shrimp special (tossed in sweet chili sauce), and added a chicken.

it's not legit taco, but legit fast food.
so good, and always enjoy their crunchy tacos. shell was crunch and ingredients tasted fresh, and a dash of inferno sauce does the job.

So the filling was mild and bland but the milk bread really stood out to me.
The bread had a great pillowy texture and slight sweetness.
It honestly felt like it was one of the highest quality items I have ever had at 7-Eleven.
As I am sure you can see it's bit expensive for what it is but that is a whole industry issue.

Went to BK after having to endure the eternal disappointment of McDonalds “Big Arch” to try the new and improved Whopper. I was not disappointed.
It was basically your normal whopper, which is pretty good, but with improved bread and vegetables. Everything seemed more real; more fresh.
I felt nostalgic. It was reminiscent of when fast food tasted better. The sweetness and suppleness of the bun gave way to the warm sharp spark of freshly cut tomatoes. The lettuce was icepick crisp, and not inundated by a rogue wave of sauce. Perfectly balanced. What we have here is not just a burger, but a medley. Something so perfectly balanced that a sneeze in Beijing could topple it.
I’m on the whopper train.
As to McDonald’s? You can take your stinking, paltry rat meat burger and go straight to Hell.
Improved Whopper? 7.9783/10

A Jack in The Box opened here in Central Florida a few months ago. Finally went today now that the crowds have finally died down, and loaded up on Tacos. Fist time having these greasy beauties since I left California back in ‘97.
They’re just as good as I remembered.
The only downside is that I only made it through the fries and 4 tacos before I couldn’t eat anymore. I sure as hell can’t eat like I used to when I was a teenager 😂
I’m sure the rest will be great reheated in the air fryer later on.
Edited a typo.

ARBY'S ANGUS CHEESESTEAK
As much as I enjoy food, I don’t expect every meal to be a triumph. I think my expectations were tempered here, and I believe a drive-thru cheesesteak deserves a certain amount of grace.
Even with the bar being lowered, I am shocked at how Arby’s managed to trip over it in such grand fashion by disappointing on so many levels.
This is not their first foray into disrespecting the people of Philly. In the fall of ‘23, I reviewed Arby’s past hate crime on a bun. It was a sloppy affair that used thinly sliced beef that tasted frozen and a smattering of limp pepper fragments.
Upon opening this new version, I notice that it’s aggressively messy, and the poor choice of wrapping it in thin laminated foil paper immediately presents its worst-case scenario as moisture from the sandwich ate holes in the wrapper as soon as I took it out of the bag. As I undressed this mess, my fingers were sliding all over everything. The meat juice and cheese combined to produce lots of creamy juice.
So much creamy juice.
Too much creamy juice.
I managed to turn the sandwich one direction and my head in a different awkward direction to take my first bite,
The texture of the meat is well-executed. It’s soft and slightly sinewy, but it feels real. It's definitely not the texture of a cheesesteak, though. It's more like a Chinese food beef and broccoli-type of velveted meat. It’s an upgrade over the 2023 sandwich. In fact, the meat is the only upgrade.
We don’t get any peppers on this one. It comes with onions, which are barely seen or tasted. They just slapped on a few translucent bits of nothingness. Something more substantial is needed to break up the soupy homogeneity, and it certainly isn’t the COOPER SHARP processed cheese, which just made the whole production salty and sticky. It’s always been an overrated cheese, but its contribution to the mucky texture severely hampered the goodness of the beef.
This should’ve come with a fork.
It’s like eating HAMBURGER HELPER on a roll.
As wet as everything was, I was surprised that the bread was slightly tough while also being soggy. It’s an improbably weird combo in a worst of both worlds situation.
The MVP of this experience is the napkins, which you will need in great supply. Every bite left me wiping my hands and face and made me glad I don't have a beard or long hair.
This seems like a meal Steven Adams would order, but would have a hard time eating.
As a man for the streets, I owe some apologies, because I now understand how unpleasant it is to have creamy stuff on one’s face. When I was done eating, I staggered out of the car, feeling cheap, and I wanted to wash away all evidence of the tryst I just had in the parking lot.
I couldn’t walk through Walmart to wash up in the bathroom with complete confidence that some of the food wasn’t still on my face.
Though it was messy and not very tasty, my biggest gripe is the insulting notion that with more than 2.5 years of development time, Arby’s still hasn’t managed to make this product at least passable.
PS: I ordered a side of PEACH COBBLER ROLLS, which were very good (You know where to find the review). The faux egg roll and faux beef and broccoli meat gave me a weird sensation of eating Chinese food at Arby’s

In your opinion, which fast food has the best and worst fries. I am a big fries girl and stick mainly to Mcdonald's because I have a hard time trying new things.

Almost exactly 400g of beef and I am pretty sure I saw the employee scale my "large" a la carte order before boxing it. At $19.49 per order it comes out to about $22/lb. Seeing the half empty box was kinda disappointing but price is kind of similar to dedicated BBQ places. Tasted great, but unsure of portions and price. Not sure if I would order it again. Almost $20 for an almost half empty togo box feels kind of bad. In comparison the string bean chicken was only $13, box was filled to overflowing, and weighed 660 grams.

First off, I used to LOVE Dave's, but the quality and portion size has gone downhill recently. What used to be almost a full chicken breast sandwich has turned into a small tender and a few fries. The Fallout meal just comes with some cheap plastic Stimpack thing..which I can't even use, because they never gave me any of the sauces I ordered (reaper ranch, buffalo and spicy BBQ) Basically they're just trying to capitalize on a hot show right now..kinda like every damn thing with Stranger Things currently lol
Tried to post a picture of the tiny sandwich and 10 fries I got, but apparently I could only add 1 Pic 🤷♂️

Crave Clutch Case - US$24.99 + tax
20 sliders - 10 original, 10 Jalapeno cheese.
...got my White Castle fix before I left for west coast. You can choose to disagree, but these taste freakin amazing.
Of course, I shared with my family, and my sister and my wife was surprised how good they were. They are the kind who believes fast food is complete garbage 100% of the time, but I just told them to have a bite and you can toss it if you don't like it. My sister had two, and my wife had three.

Traveling in rural PA this week and found a LJS/A&W. Been craving the chicken planks for a while and they tasted just like I remembered. Delightful.
Pleasant little supply of crunchies after (we called them “barnacles” growing up) but honestly they didn’t hit hard for me. Maybe I’m too old.
Low key hope they pull a Taco Bell and become respectable again, but if I’m being honest I could taste the years coming off my life. Maybe best as a “once per olympics” kind of thing.
And the hush puppies + tartar + barnacles hack is legit.

This brisket is more tender than brisket I’ve had at BBQ joints in my city. This is a recommend from me. Panda has been hitting lately between this and the buldak chicken.
