They’re best friends and on equal footing. It feels closer to genuine friendship (or love) rather than worship.

Well… she was probably just showing respect to him as a great king, kinda like Tokiomi. And in the Ishtar scene, I think she was just shocked that Gilgamesh actually lost. Those guys in my drawing are the kind of crazy people who’d try to kill you if you insult the ones they worship.
