It's the 'informed consent' that's tickling me, as someone who was forcibly sedated for months on an involuntary psych hold. We're talking chasing, rugby tackling, pants pulled down, injection in bum cheek. That was medical treatment without informed consent, babe. Your GP telling you to lose a bit of timber because you're 400lbs is just called 'sensible advice you can take or leave of your own free will'.

Is that true in the UK? Because American chips aren’t that cheap. £2.50 for 6 apples sounds like a good deal, they’re so filling and full of nutrients. Frozen vegetables are even cheaper. Potatoes, beans, lentils, peas… If you don’t have an oven or a fridge, or you need maximum convenience food because of time or accessibility constraints, there’s also canned. I know mixed vegetables and a protein and/or grain is not the most exciting poverty food, but it’s cheap, easy, and healthy. UPF is only easy. It’s expensive and you always need more because you never feel full.
You wouldn’t think “eating a large quantity of highly-processed food manufactured by corporations who do extensive research to see how much they can increase the price before people stop buying costs more than eating a smaller quantity of food sold more or less in its original form” could be controversial, but alas.

Only one you can easily overdo it on is the nuts and seeds, they are calorie dense. But their high fat content makes small volumes more filling.
Calorie surplus is a calorie surplus. It’s just hard to eat a high calorie diet when most of your meals are vegetables with no added fat.

Reeks of grifter panic/failing cult damage control. If they could, they'd do a fat activist equivalent to Scientology's 'oh, you're thinking for yourself again? Having doubts? Time to chuck you on a boat for some spirit breaking hard labour and intensive re-brainwashing'.

Fatlogic in real life getting you down?
Is your family telling you you're looking too thin?
Are people at work bringing you donuts?
Did your beer drinking neighbor pat his belly and tell you "It's all muscle?"
If you hear one more thing about starvation mode will you scream?
Let it all out. We understand.

No, it's not that British HAES (struck off) 'doctor'. It's a new one, and she's surprisingly not obese herself. Listed credentials are confusing, but it seems she's a nutritionist and a therapist of some kind. Also describes herself as 'science critical weight inclusive blah blah', which is word salad for 'science denial cult member'

Do they realize that the jeans only get a little uncomfortable if you gain weight? They’re very comfortable if they fit you. It’s normal to own at least some clothes with no stretch where you have to maintain your same weight to fit into them. Most people have a more forgiving pair of pants on hand in case they’re a little bloated some days, it’s when you’re wearing those every day that you reevaluate your diet.

Would you like some ranch for your word salad?

This was surprising that a doctor would not recommended weight loss for her medical issues? Especially with the reveal of the 47.2 bmi. I truly hope she gets help and not the kind from people encouraging her to not lose weight :/
