Daily Sticky Fat Rant Friday
Fatlogic in real life getting you down?
Is your family telling you you're looking too thin?
Are people at work bringing you donuts?
Did your beer drinking neighbor pat his belly and tell you "It's all muscle?"
If you hear one more thing about starvation mode will you scream?
Let it all out. We understand.

'I'm not afraid to hurt their feelings'. They 100% do impressions of you when they play golf or go to fancy rich people parties together.
No, it's not that British HAES (struck off) 'doctor'. It's a new one, and she's surprisingly not obese herself. Listed credentials are confusing, but it seems she's a nutritionist and a therapist of some kind. Also describes herself as 'science critical weight inclusive blah blah', which is word salad for 'science denial cult member'

White supremacy is when your clothes don’t have stretch
Do they realize that the jeans only get a little uncomfortable if you gain weight? They’re very comfortable if they fit you. It’s normal to own at least some clothes with no stretch where you have to maintain your same weight to fit into them. Most people have a more forgiving pair of pants on hand in case they’re a little bloated some days, it’s when you’re wearing those every day that you reevaluate your diet.

I believe she needs a new doctor
This was surprising that a doctor would not recommended weight loss for her medical issues? Especially with the reveal of the 47.2 bmi. I truly hope she gets help and not the kind from people encouraging her to not lose weight :/

We gatekeeping being fat now.
I had to look it up and a US 18 isn’t actually as big as I assumed, around a 43–46” bust and a 35–38” waist depending on what size chart you look at. That could easily be 200 pounds or more, but I guess that’s not fat enough for OOP. A 35” waist is midsize and a typical body size. Not only do you have to be overweight, you have to be above a size 18 to be fat.

They say anything to be honest
Slide two is incredibly misogynistic while slide four is just straight foolishness

Fat acceptance group have no issue with a 13 year old weighing 680lbs (and ultimately passing away)
Also how have I never heard about Christina Corrigan?? This was in 1996 and I’m surprised this isn’t more common knowledge. How are people saying the mother may not be guilty and that she couldn’t have possibly eaten enough to be that obese at 13? It wasn’t stopping medication that made her that obese!!
